I was scribbling my kintaur myo at work all day and drew her up once i got home, This is Tayna

From a young age, Tayna was always fascinated with space, the stars, the unreachable world far above her own. She was always stubborn,determined and hopelessly in love with her own passions. So she worked hard, put herself through school, graduated top of her class, and was soon enlisted by a private global organization mounting a space station expedition into orbit. When it was sent out, Tayna was sent out with them as Mechanic #334s, just another in a list of passengers- but she was thrilled. She knew what she was doing,she was a great help, and for a few months- life was great.Waking up to look out at the earth far below her? It was a dreamlike stupor. She did her job expertly, lived happily,and went about her days with a smile on her face. Of course, that happy life just couldn't last. There was a fatal error in the system, one that sent the space station crashing down to earth, killing many innocents in the terrible crossfire. Luckily Tayna was aboard the small ships that had managed to escape, but she wasn't lucky for long. The media turned her into a scapegoat- she was the only mechanic that had made it out alive, so they blamed her fully for the issue that costed so many lifes. Though she was entirely innocent of the crime.Without enough evidence- she was let off after a huge media shaming,and dishonorably discharged from her organization. Crushed that she'd achieved her dream..and lost it- she became bitter and cold, turning to independant experimental weaponry, almost mercenary like she invented new and strange weapons for the highest bidder. She still very much misses her days on the ship, In memorium of her 'glory days', she adds 334s on everything she builds, as a sort of signature and recall back to the days she was really happy.

This week's theme is...


One thing commonly seen in the character-development world is disabilities, be it injuries, illnesses, or birth defects! Why might that be? Some people use their characters as a form of personal expression; they may use a character to portray their own disabilities or the disabilities of their loved ones. Others struggle to make their characters more original; to avoid making their favorite OC a Mary or Gary Sue, they tack on challenges for their characters to try to overcome. A creative writing teacher once told me that the only way to make a good story is to be terribly mean to your main character; without conflict, your story is nothing!

This week is all about your original characters' illnesses and disabilities; if they have schizophrenia, we want to hear about it! If they lost a limb in an epic battle against their estranged son, we want to hear about it! Discussion of any and all mental and physical illnesses or disabilities your characters may have is welcome! What are their coping techniques? How did they acquire their physical disability? How has their mental illness impacted their life?

Remember that all content posted onsite - including the CAAA - must be child-friendly. Any risqué content will be reported and removed. Remember that discussion of personal struggles with self-harm/suicidal thoughts are not allowed to be discussed on CS. You may mention your characters' struggles with these things, but they must not be in detail as this could frighten/trigger others. If you have any questions about whether or not your content is permissible, do not hesitate to contact me before posting. If we have continued rule breaking regarding this theme, it will be removed and replaced.

I shall start the discussion off here by showing off my characters with illnesses and disabilities!

My darling Schizoid (who has definitely been my favorite character for the longest of times) was born with a defect in his brain, leading to several afflictions of the mind. When he does not take his medicine, he is prone to having severe hallucinations and mental breakdowns. He struggles to draw the line between fantasy and reality. He can be grouchy when he forgets his medicine and has severe headaches. He is clumsy, forgetful, and always tired; doctors are uncertain if these are side effects of his medication or simply his true nature.

Dink has Dissociative Identity Disorder; though he most often displays a sad and sweet personality, he shifts uncontrollably into three different personalities: Shady (that of an impulsive, vocal, and frightening man), Calette (that of an innocent and curious young girl), and Severance (that of a sullen, gentle, and strange old soul).

Hello my Llama doodles!
Questions for me!
Do you have any space related characters? I don't mean space-themed designs, I mean REAL space? Aliens? Astronauts? Living on a space station, or a different planet? How does it change how they see things?
Well surprisingly I do, Blue and Max are my two Aphelios. Which for those who don't know are little alien creatures who hold an universe in their tail orbs. Our fan club is the space station.
If they aren't from space, have any from a different world? Universe, dimension, ect? How are things over there?
Danny come from another world actually. As the first Uniwolf he knows that world very well. It's quite a peaceful kingdom, ruled by Sunburst, Danny's older brother.
Uniwolves are my closed species in current development.
If either were to meet a character from 'normal' earth, would they get along,or be hostile towards each other?
Blue and Danny would most likely try to get along. Max on the other hand would be quite afraid of the unknown.
