My dog and cats have been on raw human grade meat for years, my lab is 7 years old. Mostly chicken, cheaper cuts of things like beef, lamb, pork, turkey etc, fish, usually sardines, and he forages his own eggs from my ducks nests sometimes >.> Their teeth are in wonderful health, and I find it better and cheaper than commercial stuff.
How rare and beautiful it is to even exist ★

Looking for some advice in kibble. I raw feed my hound and my labs get dry, Captain (hound) has food sensitivities/allergies. I would like to wean him off of raw, I'm not in a good area for sourcing and it's costing about $150 a month just for him, that's just to much right now. I'm doing a full allergy panel and a diet trial to hopefully pinpoint his problem areas. I would really like to be able to feed everyone the same food, as of right now the labs want his food and he wants the labs kibble.

I don't own a dog myself but my Nan has a slightly overweight chocolate lab called Lola.
Now she doesn't get fed kibble at all. Never. She gets raw chicken wings for breakfast with a few bits of grated carrot. Occasionally they put a small bit of oil in to keep Lola's coat silky and smooth, it really works!
Lola is getting old now which is why she's a little overweight but apart from that she's really healthy. I can't remember what she normally has for the second meal of the day but I think it's similar.
Don't give dogs cooked chicken with bones in as it splinters and can get stuck in their throat, tongue etc.
You encounter a loud British man.

My god the title scared me to death. Then after reading the whole thing I was relieved. But, I did feed my dog some food that had something in it (i forgot the brand along with what was in it) that almost killed her. I was sitting at home crying because I thought she was going to die and I'm pretty sure I have the right to blame the food.
But thank god my old black lab lived! And I love her so much!

What is your labs on, and what are captains allergies? My dog Molly has allergies to corn and eats Diamond Naturals chicken and rice. No by products, corn ect. I get it at $30-35.00 (including tax) depending on if its on sale or not for a 40 lb bag. Never had a problem and she has been on it since 4 months old. She is now turning 3 years old. She is 53 lbs and one bag will last a month and a half or less.
