Amberheart sat, conversing with Oakflight. 'I wonder why Spottedstar-' the Tom began. 'Spottedstep.' Amberheart interrupted. Oakflight rolled his eyes. 'I wonder why SpottedSTEP has to retire from being leader...'

Amberheart saw a bit of movement in the nursery, and turned around, confused. Oakflight mimicked her movement, wondering.

Maplestream watched the former leader leave, and turned her eyes to the sky. 'StarClan, why didn't you warn me?' She murmurs.
