I do look through the monthly discussion threads... I think the funniest posts for me are when people are trying to guess what the pet will look like when it grows. It's really weird and spooky when some people manage to guess/wish for exactly what is about to be released that day... I remember before our Egyptian summer event everyone was talking about what the theme might be, and I'm pretty sure there was at least one person who said ancient Egypt. It was a pretty good guess!
From the moment you adopt a pet, I can check which outcome it's going to grow up to be... so it's cute when I see people wishing for a certain outcome, and I know whether or not they'll get their wish
I often check which users were the lucky zebra adopters each month... and usually find that only a few of them post about their zebras in the discussion thread. There are more coming out than most people realize, but some of them end up adopted by newbies and COPPA members who don't tell anyone (and maybe don't even realize the value of what they adopted).
I guess monthly discussion has always been different for me since nothing is ever a surprise... but I still like seeing other people reacting to what comes out
especially if something very rare has come out, since I can track who got it... and check their posts to see how happy they were about it... it makes me smile ^^
