Snowy was a bit sad to be seperated from her brother and friend but she gathered her things up and skipped over to where the two people in her group were. She sat down and set her things down on the floor bye her feet. "Hi!" She said with a big grin on her face.


Blake/Shadow
Shadow sighed as professor snape announced whose group they were going to be in. He gathered up his things and tapped Zero on the shoulder to get his attention. He had a tendency to zone out in classes. "Come on Professer Snape announced whose group we're in" Zero stared at him for a minute before gathering his things and following Shadow to wherever the other person in their group was sitting.


Zero
Zero had zoned out almost as soon as class started and was thinking of what he could do to improve is tiny robot when he felt a tapping on his shoulder. He glanced up at Shadow and stared at him as he explained that Snape had seperated them into gorups. He gathered his things and followed Shadow to where the person in their group was sitting.

mae grinned at hearing her group. ginny was fantastic! super confident, around her age... the only problem was, ginny was rather competitive, and they were both on the quidditch team! mae hoped ginny would be a good sport. and harry.... the chosen one.... a celebrity, the one chosen to be possessed with good looks reminiscent of british actor daniel radcliffe! the problem with that particular crush was that she was fairly certain ginny also liked harry. how unfortunate. sighing, mae picked up her bag, cramming her book into it. she had never banished it off her desk. she might direly need those practice sessions!

flitwick nodded in approval at eira. "five points to hufflepuff," he said, smiling up at her. "your self-motivation is commendable." he turned to evelyn. "another five points to hufflepuff for evelynn's excitement," he called loudly. "evelynn and eira, although not the best students in this class, are excited to learn. that is what separates acceptable students and fabulous students. now, everyone put away their wands." flitwick waited for the class, tapping his foot. "i'm trying a new tactic with homework this year. all homework will be done in small groups. i am going to put you into groups of three to practice this charm, and other charms in the future. i expect you to submit a schedule to me of when your group meets by next class. i also expect you to practice at least an hour every week. please note that i will likely pair you with others from a different house." he cleared his throat, summoning a list from his desk. "the first group is miss granger, mr. longbottom, and mr. jones. the second group is mr. potter, miss martel, and miss weasley. the third group is mr. weasley, mr. berkely, and mr. eberhardt. the fourth group is mr. fitzgerald, miss morvant, and mr. george weasley. the fifth group is mr. fred weasley, miss rinaldi, and mr. mythian. these groups will change if i spy any of you acting in an inappropriate manner. anyway, this week's group homework assignment is simply to practice." flitwick wrote this on the blackboard with his wand. "practice banishing spells, and submit a charms practice schedule. i'd like to release you all a little early in case you get lost going to your next class." he winked. "goodbye!"

Tomas glanced at Hermione when Mr. Flitwick told the class they would be working in groups. It was very nice to have the smartest girl in class be in the same group, but it was also a little demeaning. At least the others had the same amount of skill but hers surpassed everyone's in the classroom. Once they class was dismissed Tomas picked up his rucksack and walked over to Neville. "Hullo, man its sucks you have to complete that essay." He then whispered to him, "But i bet Hermione could do it in a snap, you should ask her to help you." He then smiled, "Why not take advantage of the opportunity?" He then patted him kindly on the back then went over to Hermione, "So when do you want to meet to complete the assignment? Im pretty busy with Quidditch but late afternoons im free." He then laughed awkwardly, "But i bet you already knew that since your other friends plays too." He then rubbed a hand behind his head and said, "Well ill see you later i guess." He then walked away feeling flustered because he really had no idea how to act around her. He felt like he should be very intellectual, but he never could pull it off.
He then thought back to the World Cup and his nervous expression faded and he continued on and waited outside the door for Mae.

Time passes quickly for the students. Not much drama happened after the scuffle between Draco and Ray. Ray got penalized with a few weeks of detention with Umbridge. Quiddich tryouts occurred without a hitch, all houses having a great turnout. The results would be posted when the Goblet of Fire was put out. The competive fever was buzzing in the air, gossip about who would be pulled from the goblet whispering throughout the halls. It was a Saturday. The Goblet of Fire was out, and students were crowded around it with a fever...

Ray was grinning, almost shaking from excitement. He wanted to see the students from the other schools, and their champions. He always loved a good fight. He looked up at the goblet in awe, lips curled into his charming grin. He heard rumors there would be a dragon. A dragon, blimey! He hoped their champion would be someone strong, brave... able to win. Perhaps he would be drawn? Did he even put his name in? He couldn't remember.

Lauren was quietly estatic. He was sitting on the outside of the crowd, waiting for the announcement of the champion. He hadn't made the quiddich team, but that didn't plague him. He watched with interest.

Draco was standing proud as his fellow classmates congratulated him on becoming the seeker for the Slytherin team. Who cares if Voldemort didn't wish him to do anything but the mission? He could juggle both. He hadn't put his name in- what was the point? He had much stuff to do. He spotted the Slytherin Princess through the crowd, and he pushed towards her with a small smirking smile.

Logan stood around with Ray, sneering across the room at the Slytherins. There was no doubt in his mind that they would stand a chance. All the professors were near the back, where Dumbledore stood with his hands behind his back in case of any last minute entries. Before he began announcing the competitors. Logan had put his name in, along with Ray, and Harry. He never seen if Ron had done the same, but he was sure he did.

Julietta noticed Draco coming towards her, where she stood with Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle. The entire great hall was crowded with all the students from all of the houses. She wanted to know who would be chosen to represent her house. She however, did put her name in when no one was looking. She waned a challenge and wouldn't mind if her name was called. After all, her father would be furious with her and would not stand for doing something as careless. But she didn't mind going against her fathers will. Even if her name wasn't chosen, she could still show her pride on the sidelines, and even out on the quidditch field. After all she was chosen as a beater on her team, and out on that field with that position. Well she pretty much owned the title. "Bit nerve racking, isn't it?" She questioned her friends around her. She watched as the crowds filled with whispers or loud cheers about who would participate in the tournament. Everything just felt great, she hadn't had much trouble with homework, halloween was soon coming up. The Yule ball in december was always something to look forward to. What could possibly go wrong?

Evelynn was near her Hufflepuff friends, eager to see who would be drawn for the hufflepuff house, she had all the faith in the world that her teammates would do an amazing job even if they didn't win. However the idea of dragons caused her stomach to flip, and tie in knots. "Oh Eira, I hope you get picked, you'd do so great out there!" she said to her friend, as well noting that Tomas would be a great pick for the house as well.

(OOC: I'll have to post for my other characters later. I have a headache, however i can play Dumbledore for this part when he picks names! )

Ariadne quickly rushed to the goblet and gave a sheepish grin to Dumbledore as she neared him. She nearly forgot to put her name into the Goblet of Fire. The girl delicately dropped the small piece of parchment inside and watched as blue flames engulfed it with awe. Ariadne soon walked back to her fellow Ravenclaws and took her spot next to Luna. She anxiously awaited the naming of the champions. The thought of having to interact with dragons excited her, and the girl could barely contain her excitement.

mae hurried to the great hall with tomas. she turned to him, breathless. "well, are you going to put your name in?" she whispered. "you'd totally win! as we in japan say, jigōjitoku. one's act, one's profit!" mae patted him on the back. "if you work hard enough, you'll win. i know you will!"

the charms teacher followed his students to the great hall. he had participated in enchanting the cup, so he knew no tomfoolery would happen this time. he walked to the head table, sitting down besides hagrid. he couldn't understand why dumbledore had chosen these seats, the height difference was drastically comical for the students!

filch watched to proceedings, arms crossed. this... event posed a huge security risk, and a huge mess! he'd better be getting compensated extra!

Ron knew the tournament winners were going to be declared today. Ron really had no interest in fighting against dangerous monsters and risking your life for a cup.
Although, he did try out for Quintach (I know that's spelled wrong), and he was able to get a spot on the team.
He turned to Harry and asked, "You wonder if you will get a spot?" He then laughed, "I bet you will becuase when was one bloody year normal?"
He then looked around at the table and grinned, "These tournaments will be interesting. A rumor is going around school that a beast could be the first task."


Thomas smiled and said, "Well oh course I mean who wouldn't put there name in? The tournament looks interesting!"
He then laughed, "ok I'll pretend like I know how to say that." Thomas had been trying to learn Japanese but it was pretty difficult for him to say certain words.
He then smiled, "I'll try to win!...but if I don't it won't be too bad." He then looked over at the boy named Harry Potter, "Harry put his name in the goblet so we all know who will win one of the spots."
He rolled his eyes a little then turned to Mae, "Well wish me luck."
He then turned in his seat and looked at Dumbledore.

Agnes sat at the edge of the Ravenclaw table, her stormy eyes locked on the Goblet. She had put her name in, and was pondering whether it was a good idea or not. Heck, she could die. But, all together she thought it'd be fun and a nice challenge. Challenges were fun. But she still had to fulfill her role on the Quidditch team, causing extra stress to settle on her shoulders. Oh boy.

Remus entered the Great Hall and took his spot at the staff table, folding his hands neatly in his lap. The aging wizard took one glance towards the Gryffindor table and saw Harry, seated with the usual Ron and Hermoine. He really prayed that the poor boy wouldn't get picked, but had a nagging suspicion no doubt he would.

Neville looked around nervously. All this talk of facing a dragon made him worry for anyone who had put their name in. It seemed a little much. Well, as long as Dumbledore is around, nothing bad should really happen.

Harry gave a laugh before nodding "Yeah, you've got a point. But, I don't suppose anyone is too happy about it." He pointed out when he noticed many people looking at him, some giving dirty looks. He shrugged it off, staring into the shimmery blue of the goblet. It's not like he wasn't used to the dirty looks. Even before he attended Hogwarts, people treated him poorly.

Eira peered around the large crowd of students, feeling the Great Hall's excitement for the games. She looked over to Tomas, who was talking with Mae. "Good luck, Tomas!" She called out to him with a thumbs up. "You think so?" Eira turned back and asked Evelynn. "Thanks" She smiled. "But, you know," She looked around once more "I heard someone talking about a dragon. Someone even said there'll be Nargles!" Eira shouted "I dont even know what a Nargle is!" She stated with worry, wondering how she would even get passed that round if she were chosen.

Snape sat in his seat at the staff table, as expected. His arms were crossed and his eyes danced around the Great Hall to find Julietta and Draco. 'They better not have gone and put their names in' Snape thought to himself. If something happened to them, he would get the consequences from their parents, who had asked him to look out for them. If they did put their names in, he might have to resort to cheating.

Aaron watched nervously, rubbing his hands together. He knew a few others in his house that had put their name in, but he hoped that he would be chosen. The sound of fighting a dragon gave him a rush even thinking about it. He looked up to the teachers, who wore mixed expressions. Some seemed excited, some seemed worried and some, you just couldn't tell. Another reason to be eager for the games, it was totally unpredictable.
