  [x]--He nodded as a means of telling the other that he'd heard her as she dismissed himself, briefly lifting up his head just in time to watch Crowpaw begin to walk away. Losing interest quickly, Cranepaw looked back at the mouse by his white paws, realizing that the meat on it was mostly gone, and probably had only a bite or two left. Good, he thought to himself, as he took the last bites of it, I was starting to get full, anyways. After a few more heartbeats, the mouse was gone and all that remained of it was the bones. Cautiously picking them up so as to be careful not to accidentally swallow them, he looked around the camp once more before his gaze fell onto the entrance of the camp. Maybe I can just leave, he thought to himself, as he begun to trudge his way to it. I can just tell someone I was burying the bones, if they find me and ask me what's up, he decided. Besides, I'm not a kit; I can be trusted with going outside, can't I?

  Within a few more moments of walking, he reached the entrance of the camp. He looked around, as though he was making sure that no one was looking at him, before leaving. He looked around, and for a moment was tempted to go out and explore; but he knew that he couldn't do that, at least not without his mentor's or a warrior's permission. Whatever, staying out here is good enough, he told himself, deciding he wouldn't go any further than just the front area of the camp.
