Firepaw, still leaning out of the medicine den, shook his head. "He's not! Doeleap told me."

Lily reluctantly ate the catmint, and then buried her face again. "It's all my fault!" She sobbed in a muffled voice.

(That reminds me, Lily is looking for a mate :3)

Firepaw fell on his face, having leaned too far. Reddening, he padded over to Snowstorm, Stormpaw, and Cream. "He looks pretty old, probably weaned. We don't know his name yet, but once he wakes up, he can tell us his name and age."

Cream stifled a snicker when Firepaw fell, but didn't manage to keep the amused expression off his face.

Doeleap sighed softly. "It's not your fault, Lily. How were you to have known?"

Dawnpaw padded out of the back of the medicine cat den, she saw all the sick cats and gasped, "Oh my! What happened here? Is there anything I can do to help? Do you want me to get anything for you?" she asked.

"Yes it is! If I didn't go out and spread this stupid thing then-" Lily cut herself off to sob.

Cream stared at Stormpaw, then rested his stubby, scarred tail on her flank. "I'm sure he'll make it. You know kits; you can't quell that fighting spirit."

Doeleap licked the top of Lily's head. "You remind me of myself, before Ebo-- I mean, before I realized Illuminatedkit was in a better place. Forestfire and Moonkit believed in the warrior code, and StarClan. They're much happier now." she murmured, then turned to Dawnpaw. "Yes, make sure the white cat stays alive. If his breathing gets too slow, or shallow, let me know."

Cloudkit stirred slightly, letting out a weak groan.
