She looked at the Blueheart when heared him speaking. She rested her head side to side looking the other cats which was invited to the Coyotefur's patrol. Any of them didn't even care the toms questions, and even she wasen't sure who he was talking at "...I very hope not" she meowed to answer his question. Her gaze was onto the patrol leader, waiting if he could lead them to the patrol.

Blueheart nodded "Yeah so do I" he meowed looking at Silentstream, he was walking last in the line of cats so he mostly looked at what was behind them rather than ahead of them. He liked the forest, you could be silent but the forest never goes asleep. There is always sounds around them and that felt soothing. If all the animals and sounds disapeared someday that would most likley be a sign of something bad. Critters dont flee or keep quiet by nothing.

Dustpaw made his way to the fresh kill pile and there he picked up a very skinny mouse, he wasn't too hungry so he left the pulp mouses and shrews for the other cats to eat who needed them more then he did. he scouted the camp to look for a great eating place and decided that he would land underneath a shaded area of the camp where he still had a great view of the clearing. and would see if someone was seeking him

Robin smiled then snuck forwards beside Aquilo. He usually wasn't as eager to go dipping his paws in trouble, but the company of another cat seemed to send Robin back to his kithood where he'd go adventuring with his father. He hadn't had much interaction with others since his father died; most cats were as hostile as those in CloverClan. But Aquilo seemed nice enough, and so Robin had started to let his guard down. He padded forward carefully, letting his instincts take over and guide him through the undergrowth without making a sound. Lifting his muzzle to the breeze, he caught a whiff of cat-scent. There were two cats, and one didn't seem to be a clan cat. Maybe it is Bone... Then he heard a faint snap, and froze as he looked down at his paws. Mouse dung! He'd stepped on a twig, breaking it neatly in half. He could only hope that the two cats hadn't yet heard him, though it was likely they had.

Foxstripe purred softly, feeling Threeleg's touch. She laid her head on her paws, watching the cats who were closest to Snakemint carry him off, her pale amber eyes dull with pain and grief. She looked at the fresh-kill pile, knowing she hadn't eaten in a day or too, but it looked so unappealing to her at that moment. She gazed up at the sky, her amber eyes wondering about how Threeleg was feeling.

Bramblewhisker nodded to his apprentice. "If you want to. He ruffled out his light tabby pelt, leading the way back to camp. "You all did very well today. Sparrowpaw, Hailpaw, why don't you both get some prey. You both deserve it." He waved his tail in goodbye to Juniperfrost. "Talk to you later, Juniperfrost." He padded over to Fernstar. "Anything I can help you with? I just led the hunting patrol back." He looked at his leader, purring softly.

Fernstar turned her head at Bramblewhisker's voice. "Oh, thank you Bramblewhisker." She mewed, dipping her head. "Could you watch camp while I'm away? I'm going to bury Snakemint and I have no idea where Coyotefur is." She mewed through the old medicine cat's fur.


Threeleg looked back at Foxstripe for a heartbeat before nodding to Fernstar. He grabbed his mentor's tail gently and flattened his ears as he remembered this was probably his last goodbye. Memories and flashbacks flooded his mind and he lashed his tail as he tried to push them away. "I'm ready." The tom murmured, just wanting to get going.


Juniperfrost entered camp with a squirrel she'd caught on the return. She put it on the pile before looking at Bramblewhisker. The fæ opened her mouth to summon him back but bit her lip in refusal. He was talking to Fernstar. With a sigh, she slumped to the warrior's den with low ears and tail. There was no way he'd like her anyway.


"Thanks Berrypaw!" Sparrowpaw called after the fæ before following the patrol back to camp. When they got there, he nodded to Bramblewhisker and put his nous on the pile, keeping the vole for himself. He sat down there and then and began to eat it.


Aquilo followed behind Robin before hearing the twig snap. Looking at Robin, he let out a chuckle. "Mousebrain!" He whispered cheerfully before turning back to the cats. They'd heard. That wasn't good.


Bone froze at a sound of a twig snapping and looked in the direction of the noise. Although he couldn't see anyone, he assumed they were watching him with Shadowpaw. "We're being watched." He whispered to Shadowpaw, not taking his eyes off the bushes.

The tom had traveled quite a ways to end up where he was, just outside the territory of a single clan. His dark furs, not quite the shade of a true dastardly crow, shimmered slightly in the little light he stood in. If there were no scars flanking his pelt, he might appear a mere loner. He had always been tall, and strong, but the way he kept himself looked almost too... Neat, to be a rogue, to have intentions to grow to power, to be aggressive. His gaze shifted around the terrain, and he remained in his singular spot, watching, waiting, for something interesting to happen, for something to make the first move, so he could begin planning.

She walked away deep into the forest."I wonder when my new mentor will be assigned to me...I just really want to be a warrior..."She let out a purr and continue walking.

Torrentheart nodded at the words of her leader. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the older medicine cat hopping around as a young 'paw. She backed away as Fernstar announced that it was time to bury Snakemint.


Daywatcher squeezed her eyes shut as she backed away. It was so hard to look at the medicine cat's mangled body... she had very little experience with death, and certainly didn't want to see any more. "StarClan protect him forever," she meowed softly to no one in particular.


Bearpelt nodded as his leader gave the signal to go ahead. He quickly stopped short when he heard Bramblewhisker call out to Fernstar, then patiently waited as the two exchanged words. When he saw them finish, he began to pad forward again, carefully placing his paws as not to trip over as he carried the medicine cat.

Fernstar gently followed Bearpelt, her steps soon falling into his. She trusted Bramblewhisker to watch the camp while she was out, so had nothing to worry about. "It's going to be strange not calling Snakemint's name when there's an emergency." She commented after the silence went on for too long.


Threeleg hopped gently after his leader and the elder, trying to time his hops so that he didn't drop his mentor's tail. His green eyes flashed with pain but he kept silent until Fernstar spoke. "Yes, and it will be strange not being able to check with him that I'm using the right herbs." The medicine cat sighed, lowering his head a tiny bit.
