Looks -(Picture Or Description): She has dark brown fur. Her paws, tail tuft, chest, belly and bottom jaw are white. She has a pink nose, the inside of her ears are tan, and she has green eyes. A piece of her left ear is torn out and she has a few scars from a dark past.
Personality: Zuri is strict and all about order and discipline. When she is not hunting for her niece and herself or she isn't chasing after her niece, Zuri is training Chasiku in hunting and fighting. She distrusts Pridelanders with a passion and is extremely protective of her niece. Loyal to her brother and her mother's memory, Zuri has done her best to step in and raise Chasiku after her sister-in-law died. Zuri is not afraid of going into the Pridelands to hunt for food and is quite the hunter and fighter despite her somewhat skinny size. Zuri would like to have cubs again and possibly a mate but has yet to come across an Outlander who has not betrayed her family in the past or shunned her once they find out the secret her family carries. Although she remains hopeful, with each month that passes, she begins to resign herself more and more that she will never find that special lion or have more cubs. So that is why she is protective over her niece and so harsh in Chasuki's training. Underneath, she is kind, but all one sees is her cold exterior and nobody thinks to look beneath that exterior to see the kind and devoted lioness underneath who worries she will lose everything dear to her and will shame her mother. She learned early on after her mother's death and a brief stint in a prison by another pride that kindness never gets you anywhere in life.

She purred before looking down at the zebra carcass. "We should probably bring this back to the pride, don't you think?"

Jelani watched as the pride lioness walked off, starting to reconsider his choices. As much as he thought he was right about remaining a rogue, he couldn't help but consider going after her.

She waved her tail off in a goodbye. Just as Kayonna got there she slumped down in the den and fell asleep after a exhausting day.

Zuri stood on the edge of the river, looking out into the Pridelands. "Soon grandfather. One day we will complete your legacy of one of our own becoming king where Zira failed with Kovu," said Zuri. She headed down the bank and made her way across the river, being careful of the alligators that lay in wait within the river. When she got to the other side, Zuri smirked as she stood within the Pridelands and set off on a hunt.

The lioness nodded. "If you wouldn't mind?" Biting down onto one end of the zebra, she lifted her side up.

Jelani began to walk off, thinking it would be best if he left the pridelands sooner rather than later. He didn't really get too far before he spotted another lioness off in the distance. From where he was standing, he couldn't exactly tell if she was part of the same pride or not. Curious, he padded closer to her, trying his hardest not to seem threatening.
