Forcing himself to draw his attention to the steam rising from his drink, he sighed. Jay would often miss opportunities to talk to new people due to being shy and a nervous wreck, but he knew he'd have to break out of this shell before heading into the real world. Looking up once again, he saw everyone was doing some late night studying. He opened a copy of his notes on his phone and tried to concentrate, but even with just three other people he was constantly distracted. Somehow Jay's gaze kept landing on the same person. He didn't even realize he was staring at someone whenever his eyes left his phone's screen.

Tyler sipped his drink a couple more times, before lifting his head to give his eyes a rest from the screen. He looked over to his left and saw a pair of eyes on him. He gave a small smile in greeting. You had to be nice to people, right? And catching people looking at you was always awkward. To Tyler, at least. To him, giving small smiles somehow made it less awkward for him and the other person, from his own personal experiences.

Josh got in his car and pulled the door shut, waiting for Willow to start up her truck. He basically relied on her to get where he needed to go. The only place Josh knew how to get there from the school was his house. It was kind of sad, actually.

His eyes widened slightly when he saw who he was staring at had noticed. He gave a small smile, mostly out of embarrassment, and waved a little. Jay hadn't meant to stare like that, but he couldn't help it. It was habit that his eyes would move to the most interesting thing in the room, and in an empty cafe at midnight, this person happened to be just that.

Tyler turned back to his laptop, reading a couple more things about genetics and all that biology stuff. He was interested in biology, just not so much when he had to study for it. He gave short, quick glances at the other person in the room every once in a while. Some of those times he noticed him staring again, but Tyler didn't want to make it look like he had noticed. He didn't want him to get embarrassed, so he pretended not to notice.

Jasaphere walked cautiously down the steps and used her stick to feel her way to his car. "Aww. Thank you" she chuckled as she took a seat in the passenger side, "in sure you do as well but ehm, I can't really see" she blushed. "Just a warning, some of the guys from your team might make fun or you if they see you talking to me

"Psh. It's fine, if they do I don't really care. All it means is that I didn't realize they were jerks before." He said, starting the car and pulling out of the driveway and down the avenue. "So you said you like to listen to sports, what kinds?" He asked her after a few minutes of silence went by.

"A few of them are. They knock my books out of my hands anytime they see me" she grumbled. "I like football, soccer, baseball, basketball, rugby, lacrosse pretty much any sport you can think of. " she said with a smile, "which sport do you play?"

Willow eased out of the driveway and took a left, sadly not on the way to her home but she was craving Dunkin. She drove a few miles, then pulled into the familiar parking lot that belonged to a purple and orange restaurant. Rolling down her window she leaned out to look at Josh, pulling into an empty parking space. "You want anything?"

Patrick began to pace back and forth, wall to wall, side to side. He looked up at her, and tried to think how to place the next question. "Er, this is kinda odd sounding but where does it usually happen?" He asked her, brushing a strand of strawberry blonde hair out of his eyes.
