Well, Cayden is a pretty big role, really
If Frost is treating signing up like that, I'm not quite sure, though
Cayden would show up fairly soon, as I think he'd haunt everywhere in the Underground, including the ruins.
Perhaps when he first finds out humans have fallen, he appears among the ruins and follows them, making quiet influences.
