@ fluffypancakes - Daya is quite pretty. Kestrels are beautiful little birds too.
@ Rabbitheart - I absolutely loooove Reggy's concept and his human ref is beyond adorable!
@ imperfalence - oooooh that art is darling, I love your art style!
@ Batman - that dragon is precious.
Regarding fan characters for theme week, I think they can be very creative if done properly, but then I've seen some that just ... don't make sense or lack any real effort. The fan charas I tend to like the most are ones in expansive worlds. For example, making your own pokemon trainer is great! There's plenty of freedom with this, so there's plenty of room to show your creativity. But then I've seen Fan characters like 'member 27 of Organization XII' and those are the characters I tend to dislike, as they break canon. I also usually prefer fan characters that are completely independent of canon characters when it comes to relationships. I've designed crack pairing kids, but only for laughs, never with the intent to make them true characters. To me, it's a lot harder to make a fan character that works when you connect them to a main character.
And now, my fan characters. Most of mine are pokemon, so I'll just share those.
Glyph the Gligar and Effie the Espeon were the first, followed by Veeno the Victini. They live in a town where the streets are ruled by the gangs and there are constant territory battles going on. Glyph is the goofball member of one of these gangs, Effie is an informant from the red light district, and Veeno is a street rat who does what she has to in order to survive. Finn the Flareon is from the same town, but he's far less hardcore. He's the comic relief guy.
Dren the Ralts lives in a different town, where crime isn't a big problem. He's a ten year old self proclaimed super villain.
Next comes Eztli, my mew. Ez comes from a tropical jungle. As a child, the local people worshiped him as a god and he let it go to his head (it's for this reason he's usually floating. He rarely does something so ungodly as to walk on the ground).
Aron the aron was abandoned in a mine shaft as a little boy and found by the local aron population. They took care of him, and since they always call out 'aron' when they call to him, he assumed that was his name.
I have two more gijinka, based on Skrelp and Noibat, but I didn't connect with them at all and don't consider them my characters. They're just abandoned designs now with no stories or personalities :/ I'll try to revamp Kuzo, but Stella is a lost cause for me.

This drawing is from 2014, where I attempted to chibi draw all of my gijinkas. It was also the day I designed Eztli, who quickly wormed his way into my favorites.
