@Hipster ~ A little late, but I wanted to mention that I just love the charrie you showed back on page 2! Corgies are soo cute!
What's the favorite fan character you own (if any)?I actually only own one fan character, Moondew! I'd almost forgoted that she's a fan character because she's my fursona and I've been working with her for so long that she's become so much more than that! I started writing her fanfiction a long time ago, I should probably finish it sometime. She is from the Warrior series world.
Do your fan character haves a role on the original story of the game/series/book/etc or are they just design-based?Moondew has a separate storyline than the Warriors series, but hers exists in the same world and has influence from that storyline. It goes that Moondew's adopted mother, the rogue Tabitha, discovered the original warrior clans, and was given refuge in the Riverclan camp for a short time. She then left and settled on another side of the mountain. Starclan then gave her the responsibility of caring for a litter of special kits of legend who's parents had died. These kits were Silverkit (Silverdove), Smokekit (Smokeblossom), Frostkit (Frostfall), and Moonkit (Moondew). Growing up, she told the kits stories of the warrior clans, and they urged her to found her very of clan of warriors. At last, she did. She founded Forestclan and became Foreststar. I forgot to mention that Foreststar is the sister of Sol and that Moondew and her sisters and brother are the biological children of the deceased cats Moonflower and Stormtail and the siblings of Bluestar and Snowfur. What's so special about them is that their parents were already Starclan spirits when they were conceived. Moondew is literally a child of the stars. Sol, Moonflower, Stormtail, Bluestar, and Snowfur are all characters of the actual Warriors books. So I guess that Moondew really is more connected to Warriors than I thought.
Have you ever paid way more than you probably should have for a character you adore? Do you regret it?Probably. The most expensive character I've ever bought was $200. This is because the owner had earned it in a draw-to-adopt and could not sell it as per the rules. The only thing she would trade it to me for was a rare custom of a closed species. The MYO slot cost $150 and the commission to have a professional artist design the character and make its ref sheet cost $50. However, I don't regret my decision. He also came with three pieces of beautiful art from the draw-to-adopt. Also, don't think I always blow a bunch of cash on characters. My second most exspensive character I've bought was $13 and it was a custom by a well-known artist, so it was not a bad price. They've since raised their customs to $15.
Who's your favourite out of every single char you've adopted?Hmm... That's a tough question. Besides my fursona, Jasey Rae, maybe Midnight Plasma?

This is the one that cost me $13. I bought him many moons ago, but haven't really used him. The thing is, I asked for a steam punk design, and I feel as though the designer didn't quite meet the quota. I feel bad to say it, too, because I really like the artist. Perhaps that's it- I like their other designs more than this one, and so I'm a bit disappointed. Sixbane has a wonderful ocean themed character by them whom I like far more. My mother was unhappy about me spending $13 on a custom, so I told her I really liked the result, but I'm honestly having a very hard time connecting with him. I may sell him sometime, but I know I'll feel bad about that, too. Also, I may come to miss him..
Well, I have plenty of time to think about it.
