I'm beginning to have a harder and harder time trusting artists now.... I have given a sizeable amount of money to three different artists prior to the completion of the pieces of art, and the artists just keep disappearing. I'm trying to be patient, I know college is hard... But waiting months for art and receiving no word on the status is growing more and more frustrating... >:c

I would also like to advertise my species on dA. Since Oekaki no longer works on my laptop in browsers I trust, I quit drawing using it and have since switched to FireAlpaca. Doing this, I have moved the species I ran here on ChickenSmoothie to deviantart. I really really don't want those babies to die out there, so I would love if you could come check them out and possibly spread the word about them so they don't die. quq

I probably spoil my little Dawn more than my others which I kinda feel bad for.. orz
I have a feeling that her ship has made me really fond of her character, and has helped developed her even more. Their closeness with each other and the closeness between her and her adopted children bring me close to her. qwq Plus her design (which was absolutely amazing how perfect she came out seeing all I gave was a color palette. No preferences, no motives.) and the sheer luck of me getting her via raffle.

What makes a fan character for you? Is it a character set in the fictional world another author has dreamed up? Are they based on a real life person or fictional character? Is it simply a character from a fictional species that someone else created? For some, fan characters are the primary outlet for fanfiction, fan girl/boying, art, and other creative efforts. To others, fan characters are unoriginal and difficult to bond with. No matter your opinion on fan characters, I'd like to hear it!

Show me your fan characters...your Pokemon trainers, your Homestuck trolls, your Winchester brothers. Any and all discussion based on fan characters is welcomed and encouraged this week! What do you find most difficult when using a fan character? Easier?

my own fancharacters, personally, are set in the universe of which the author created ! since developing ocs within the limits of a fancharacter universe whilst still having them be original in terms of personality, etc. is so cool to me ?? i just love them a lot

the most difficult thing ?? im not sure. i guess trying to keep in canon can be difficult ?? but tbh its also super fun
easier ?? i dunno. i guess w/ the fantrolls and fankids i could get away w/ giving them v simple outfits as that's v typical for the characters whoops

He's been mates with my Noah for a while, but we never got to breed them! Now that I own them both maybe their little rat-cake mako dream will come true <33
Mauro is, in simple terms, a nerd. He love to write and read, and has filled up countless journals with his adventures.A lot of them are love stories, inspired by his own experiences with his boyfriend. More is to be written up on him later! But yes he is definitely a nerd and lovable and cute
