She crouched on the rock, her tail stiff as she stalked the gazelle. It had strayed from its herd. She darted forward, almost purring as the wind Ruffled her cheek fur as she chased the gazelle through the brush. She pushed power from her paws into the earth, sending her flying onto the gazelle's back. She killed it with a quick bite to its spine. She sat down next to it, noticing the giant Pride rock on the horizon. She purred as she bit down into the gazelle.

Sefu heard the heavy paws of his babysitter following him down from Pride Rock and rolled his eyes. The young lion flicked his tail in annoyance as he reached the bottom of Pride Rock and decided to visit the watering hole where the herds and other subjects, both lion and cheetah, frequented for water. It amazed the prince how the herds cooperated together and shared the watering hole without breaking out into fights.

Chasiku pounced on another cub who was fellow member of the Outlands with her mother. The black cub with gray undersides and paws growled as she tugged on the other's ear playfully before bolting off, the other chasing her.
