Fernstar looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "Of course, but take Threeleg and I would like to come too." She mewed before turning to Torrentheart. "He was a hard worker, concentrating all the time. When I was a 'paw, I found him quite boring, but as I grew I found his company comforting." The leader explained, rising to her paws. "He helped the Clan through many tough times." The tabby fæ sighed. She looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "We shall head off." She mewed, looking at the body and flicking her tail across Threeleg's flank.


Threeleg looked over at Foxstripe, gratitude glittering in his green eyes for half a heartbeat before it shrouded again with sadness and grief. "Thank you Foxstripe," he mewed, pushing his muzzle briefly to her shoulder before looking at Fernstar. "Ready when you are."


Juniperfrost looked at Bramblewhisker before nodding. "Alright. I'll see if I can catch anything on the way back." She then flicked her tail to Hailpaw and began to head back, bounding through the trees. Every few heartbeats, she stopped and sniffed the air for any scent on the gentle breeze.


Sparrowpaw looked at Bramblewhisker and nodded. He uncovered the prey he'd caught earlier and carrying them in his jaws, following Hailpaw and Juniperfrost back to camp. Glancing at his mentor, he asked through the fur of the prey. "Can we do battle training next time?"


Aquilo pricked his ears as Robin asked if he'd heard something. He thought he heard voices, but they died almost instantly. "Maybe it's just some house cat or something." He mewed, not wanting to believe it was Bone.


Bone looked at Shadowpaw and nodded before flattening his ears. "But the Clan are pretty loyal to her, unless we attract a completely different species... Like fox.." He looked at Shadowpaw with a devilish smirk.

"Well... See you soon!" She said and wave her tail in goodbye then heading for the camp entrance.She didn't walk far as she bumped into someone and fall on her back. Raising her head Sparrowpaw came into her view." Sorry!" She jump back on her legs and shake her ginger pelt. Her eyes froze on his prey and her mouth starts watering." Great catch!"

Torrentheart nodded at the words of her leader. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the older medicine cat hopping around as a young 'paw. She backed away as Fernstar announced that it was time to bury Snakemint.


Daywatcher squeezed her eyes shut as she backed away. It was so hard to look at the medicine cat's mangled body... she had very little experience with death, and certainly didn't want to see any more. "StarClan protect him forever," she meowed softly to no one in particular.


"Of course, Fernstar," the tom rasped. "I understand." Glancing down at the former medicine cat's body, he slightly lifted him off the ground by grabbing his scruff with his teeth. "I think it would be best for you and Threeleg to grab his tail and back," he mumbled through the fur of Snakemint.

Fernstar nodded to the older tom and padded around the back, lifting the medicine cat slightly. "I think you should grab the tail." She suggested to Threeleg through Snakemint's matted fur. Once he'd grabbed a hold, she looked back at Bearpelt and flicked her tail to signal all were ready to head off.

Memories and flashbacks flooded his mind and he lashed his tail as he tried to push them away. "I'm ready." The tom murmured, just wanting to get going.

Robin shrugged. "It probably is." Then he frowned slightly, looking back towards where he thought the voices came from. "Then again, what would a house cat be doing out here?" He almost wanted to go investigate, just to see who was out there. Even if it was Bone, the rogue certainly couldn't be that bad, could he? "You want to go check it out?" Robin asked Aquilo casually.

Blueheart padded after the other cats "Do you think we will find anything?" he asked, personally he didn't think there would be anything strange around, the forest had been calm latley. He looked straight ahead keeping his ears on alert waiting for the others to awnser his question.
