after hunting around for a few hours and finding nothing of interest, papyrus decided it was too cold for him. stomping his way through the town and waving at the townspeople as he grew closer to the familiar building, papyrus puffed up his skeletal chest (as much as a skeleton was able to) and waltzed into grillby's. "GREETINGS FELLOW MONSTERS!" the place was full of creatures and papyrus made his way up to the bar, grinning and cackling as a few shouted their greetings back. finally reaching the counter, his eye(socket)s widened when he saw the crowd. "HELLO!"

Petra's POV:


I heard the door open and saw this rather loud skeleton trot in. "Hey there! How are you?" I greeted the skeleton with an enthusiastic smile. I curled my tail neatly around myself as I waited for my food.

✦ "Isaac, huh?" Blitzen leaned back again, giving the fellow monster his personal space now that he
had his name. "Nice. Blitzen. Call me Blitz." He offered him a fist bump, but at that moment, Candela entered, and he was reminded
of his hunger. "'Ayy, Candela! I'll have a large plate of fries." He propped his chin on his hand and smiled innocently.
He'd wanted a burger earlier but he'd changed his mind. Fries would do nicely.
He'd begun to hum under his breath when someone entered.. rather loudly, at that. He turned in his seat to see who
it was and wasn't surprised to find Papyrus. He grinned and leaned back on the counter behind him. "Well, if it isn't
everyone's favorite soon-to-be royal guardsman!" He greeted, plucking his cigarette from his lips and taking a drag.

"AH, I AM MOST WELL THANK YOU!" grinning wide, papyrus settled down beside blitzen. he hadn't been into grillby's in a while - unless he decided to search for sans, who was always on some sort of 'break'. honestly. "HOW ARE THE REST OF YOU?" drumming his skeletal fingers against the counter, papyrus began bobbing his head to the quiet music. he had something on his mind, but he wasn't sure how to approach the subject. while he was often open and loud, he still knew monsters were touchy about the thought of humans. "I HAVEN'T BEEN IN FOR A FEW DAYS... TRAINING AND ALL."

"I'm doing swell! Thanks for asking!" he said smiling "It's such a lovely day outside" he said taking a sip of his water. He looked around Grillby's seeing it has been changed a bit. The jukebox was finally fixed as it was playing a lovely quiet tune that spread across the bar.

"Doing well, doing well indeed." I replied looking at the skeleton who was drumming his fingers, much to my annoyance. "Training eh? Doing well in the field?" I asked curiously, raising my eyebrow in interest.

Damien nodded as she walked along side Lin trailing off once in awhile but always ketching back up, eyes scanning the area around her she kept her hands in her pockets as she started to think about her father, had he even relized she was gone yet?.. She sighed looking down at the ground and running one of her hands though her hair, her eyes becoming watery as she thought more and more about her father, but her thoughts quickly vanished as a stern voice echoed though the ruins, this one female, as another monster appeared in front of them, Damien steped back behind Lin careful as to not get to close to his flaming tail, she glanced up at the bigger monster eyes wide "would that be by chance the monster you would referring to?.." She asked.

Lin narrowed his eyes at Toriel and bobbed his head "I thhhhinkkkk so?" He shook himself and turned to Damien, "I never actually met her I just heard rumors." He shrugged and turned back to the goat. "Anyways... You!" He suddenly roared "are you here harm the human?" He got into a pouncing position "Because if you want to.. You have to get past me." his orange eye suddenly blazed as if a flame was trapped inside it, and his fire on his tail became a wild flame creating twice as much heat than before.

"Ok Blitz!" Candela wrote down his order along with Petra's. Soon after, Papyrus walked in. "Welcome Papyrus!" She greeted, waving her hand high. "I'm doing absolutely great! What can I get for you today?" She wasn't as close to Papyrus than the others around, as he wasn't at Grillby's a lot. Although Candela usually saw him pass by, his shouts and hollers being heard from across Snowdin.

They finally were able to get out of the room safely. "Phew, that was close!" Frisk huffed, "Let's try not to get near any more trouble."

To their surprise,this room was quite different than the one before, as this one had purple walls and tall purple pillars. So there was actually society in the underground? Frisk stared in awe.

"Yeah, let's try not to." I replied looking down at the ground briefly before looking up. "Well, let's continue." I kept walking, thinking about my past and everything.. I had to protect this person that was with me, i'll make sure they live even if I perish, they'll live.

the sudden onslaught of crowd in the friendly diner was unexpected, most definitely, but not too bad. after all, socializing was on her mind when she suggested grillby's anyways. face after face entered the building, some familiar, some fresh. undyne had been semi-spacedout when a flaming monster came over to take her order, smiling pleasantly. "i'll take a burger too, please!" she suggested, grinning. another monster soon caught her attention, a familiar - and very loud - face. "papyrus!" she cheered, waving kindly at the tall, thin skeleton. she couldn't help but shoot blitzen a glare as he talked about the soon to be guardsman, arching one brow knowingly. it wasn't her fault papyrus was too soft to be a royal guardsman, too friendly and innocent.
