Sunny raised her head up suddenly, hearing a rustle behind her. She hardly had time to turn round before a cougar lept at her, clawing at her whithers. She kicked out and bucked, where the cougar came from, she had no idea, and didn't care. She nickered, the nicker echoing through the valley.

Caspian laughed and startedto take a drink

((I feel horrible you guys. ): My dog dug up a shrew a few weeks ago and it snowed the next day so I couldn't let it go. Today, I went to let it go and it was dead. ))

Alanza finished drying her coat and turned to look at Caspian.

Kerosene jerked her head in the direction that she heard Sunnys nicker. With it being that loud something had to be wrong. She whinned back to get a better idea where the mare was.

Danser heard Sunny's cries and ran to the sound. She saw a cougar on her back, clawing at her neck. Danser immediately stepped in, lunging at the creature, her sharp hooves cracking one of it's ribs. When the cougar fell in pain, Danser bucked it on the head, a powerful impact making it's skull crack.

Caspian raised her head and looked at Alanza. "Hey" he said, sarcistically

The cougar snarled and went limp. Sunny's eyes were wider than the moon, her shoulder and neck bleeding. She was panting, trying to keep her legs from buckling. "Thanks, Dacser." she murmered, knees starting to buckle.

Alanza's ears went back playfully as she lunged forward, sending a small spray of dirt into Caspian's face.
