actually, I'm coming out of the shadows to share with you all a little aromantic design - aros seem to get so little love around valentine's day, so I figured I'd share a little something that's been brewing in my mind for a while hehe and I was gonna have green paint but the orange added some nice contrast here so yeppp

How do they feel about Valentine's day?: Scout always feels left out at Valentine's Day, but it wouldn't be her way to show that, so she doesn't let on how she feels. She has always been open about being aromantic, and the other snakes are a little wary of that as though she doesn't want friends or anything. They avoid the topic and act real awkward at this time of year, so understandably Scout tends to keep a low profile so she doesn't end up in the inevitable conversations where others try to avoid the topic of romanticism. No one really understands, so at no other time of the year does Scout feel more alone. She'd love if people just treated her normally because deep down she knows she is no different to them.

While they don't have any interest in pursuing a romantic relationship, they like spending the day out with their platonic girlfriend Ruby. Aroe doesn't mind seeing other snakes in love or out on romantic dates on Valentine's, but they definitely don't love all the pda. Aroe is a generally chill snake, so they mostly don't mind seeing other snakes out on dates as long as they're with their platonic datemate having fun. (ps: i kinda based this off myself bc i spend Valentine's with my platonic datemate and I'm aromantic!)

Romeo loves Valentine's Day! Although Romeo is aromantic, he thinks that Valentine's Day is really sweet, and all the couples out and about are really cute! Not to mention all the delicious candies and sweet treats they get. They don't mind not having a significant other to spend the day with, even if others think he should. He's just fine hanging out with all his friends.
