Fernstar looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "Of course, but take Threeleg and I would like to come too." She mewed before turning to Torrentheart. "He was a hard worker, concentrating all the time. When I was a 'paw, I found him quite boring, but as I grew I found his company comforting." The leader explained, rising to her paws. "He helped the Clan through many tough times." The tabby fæ sighed. She looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "We shall head off." She mewed, looking at the body and flicking her tail across Threeleg's flank.


Threeleg looked over at Foxstripe, gratitude glittering in his green eyes for half a heartbeat before it shrouded again with sadness and grief. "Thank you Foxstripe," he mewed, pushing his muzzle briefly to her shoulder before looking at Fernstar. "Ready when you are."


Juniperfrost purred before sniffing the air herself. She smelt mouse, but it seemed as though Sparrowpaw had too because he was creeping toward it. "Well done!" She purred as he returned with the limp creature in his jaws.


Sparrowpaw smiled at her praise before dropping it and looking at Bramblewhisker. "Did I do good? Did you see me?" He asked his mentor excitedly as he began to bury his catch.


Aquilo nodded. "I've heard of him, yes, I heard he was exiled from the Clan for something terrible, but is convinced he didn't do anything." The loner had heard many of these tales from brief meetings with his sister.


Bone was surprised. His eyes glittered and he curled his tail in amusement as she began bouncing around. "That means that worthless old Threeleg will be taking over and even a mouse could send him to StarClan!" He mewed excitedly before looking at Shadowpaw. "We also need to get rid of Fernstar, which is a bit trickier."

Foxstripe purred softly, feeling Threeleg's touch. She laid her head on her paws, watching the cats who were closest to Snakemint carry him off, her pale amber eyes dull with pain and grief. She looked at the fresh-kill pile, knowing she hadn't eaten in a day or too, but it looked so unappealing to her at that moment. She gazed up at the sky, her amber eyes wondering about how Threeleg was feeling.

Bramblewhisker nodded to Sparrowpaw, his pale green eyes playful. "Why, yes I did, Sparrowpaw. You are doing very well. He ruffled out his light tabby pelt, searching for more prey. He saw another mouse and pinned it, killing it in a matter of seconds before turning back to the group.

Sparrowpaw buried his catch before returning his focus to the surrounding territory. He picked up the scent of thrush and followed it through the trees. He found the bird very close to the border with SnowClan, but still in CloverClan territory. The young tom wrinkled his nose as the crisp, misty scent of the SnowClan markers filled his nostrils. The brown tabby crouched before leaping forward, grabbing the thrush between his extended claws and killing it swiftly. Sparrowpaw picked it up before turning and heading back to the group.


Aquilo nodded. "I've heard of him, yes, I heard he was exiled from the Clan for something terrible, but is convinced he didn't do anything." The loner had heard many of these tales from brief meetings with his sister.


Bone flicked his tail at her doubt but his voice was still calm. "Well, she does have 9 lives, or did when I was still in the Clan." He mewed, thinking back to when he was still Sootpaw. The leader could have lost a life since then, or maybe even more than that, and that would make it easier to kill her.

"Don't wear out my name." her long whiskers twitched as she glanced over at the crowd around Snakemint's draining body. "That's terribly, what happened to him. He must have been jumped by a fox or something." she half mumbled, her ears flattening.

Jay sat on a damp log, snoozing as the moon started to fall across Silverpelt. He opened one of his weary eyes as a mouse darted past him. He automatically sprung to life and pounded after it with swift paw movements.

Robin tilted his head, interested in what Aquilo knew of the rogue. "I wonder what that terrible thing could be," he mused. The tom paused, swiveling his ears. He thought he'd heard voices, coming from a ways away, but just close enough for him to catch a whisper on the wind. "You hear that?" he asked the grey tabby with a hushed meow. "I wonder if it's Bone..." Robin smiled playfully, not really believing that it was any cat at all.
