Sala's eyes widened and took off after Yinn and the hands grabbing her "Yinn!" she yelled

"NO!" Yelped Crystal. She flew up and snapped at the new creature. "You want venom spewing from my fangs? Then let her go!"

Sala turned to Crystal "it won't work just little stuff! this creature she's too powerful!"

Yinn gasped in pain as a Shattered grabbed her broken wrist and jerked it in the wrong direction. "Get any closer and I'll kill her." Yin continued to put up a fight, but she was still so exhausted from the battle earlier. Shattered lowered her talons and put them up to Yinn's vulnerable throat. Blood dripped as he gryphon pushed against the jugular.

Zeo stopped in the air, about to attack when he heard Shattered's threat. "NO! Don't you DARE!" he tried to build up the courage to get Yinn back, but just couldn't risk it.

Sala frowned "please let her go" she begged

Crystal was horrified as she watched everything happen. Even her venom couldn't stop Shattered.

Sala beat her wings ready to do anything to get Yinn back

Shattered laughed at their looks of desperation and started to sink her talons deeper into the dragon's throat. She felt invigorated by the warmth of the blood trickling down her arm. "I think I'm just going to end her miserable life right now. Save you the trouble of rescuing her." she was about to drive in the final thrust when suddenly her arm was cut clean off. She screamed as she watched her arm fall to the ground below. "I WILL KILL YOU!" she looked and saw the green gryphon flying with a huge grin on his face. She dove at him with all her anger and began to summon a storm. She grabbed a bolt of lightning and thrust it into the green-feathered chest.

Zeo spluttered and spit out a huge glop of blood. He laughed as it hit Shattered in the face and fell. "At least Yinn is safe..."

Sala looked in horror at Zeo then at Yinn she rushed to Zeo after the lightnign hit him

Yinn regained her strength when she saw Zeo's sacrifice. "Darn it, you fool!" she hovered and turned on Shattered. "YOU!!!" she lunged at the gryphon and unleashed a stream of lava at her. Shattered suddenly began to glow. A lightning ball came down and engulfed her. It formed a force field around her, deflecting the lava. Yinn swooped down and sent a gush of fire balls at the lightning, only to be frustrated even more when they were deflected as well.
