What convinces you to try out for certain plumerians?
two things: simplicity and design
i'm very fussy when it comes to trying out for plumerians or not. if i can both draw the plumerian's design and really like how it looks (like, really really like) then i try out.

so, like many others, i'm trying out for plumerian 712.
i unfortunately don't own any other plumerians, so i'm going to need the community's help in making my entry a bit alive.
i'm mainly looking for family (mother and 2 siblings), but friends and maybe even enemies is appreciated as well.

Since a few people are also answering questions-- thought I'd might answer these too.

What is the most unique thing about your plumerian, not including design?
Ino is evidently the one with a special case. From their origins to their innate powers. They're relatively normal personality wise, as they prefer to not stand out too much.
Val is quite ordinary; he's a very simple man. There's not a lot that sets him apart from other Plumerians aside from maybe his simplicity, which I've grown to adore.
Aly is pretty much the odd one of the bunch. He's mute but is able to convey his words through gestures and typing. The only difficulty is that he always answers in esoterics coupled with a weird speech pattern.

What's the most unique thing about your plumerian's design?
Ino's tails, Val's hair and Aly's eyes, I guess!

What convinces you to try out for certain plumerians?
If I can see myself illustrating them over and over again, building up their personality with every drawing. I love being able to draw my own characters over having other people draw them for me. It helps me get to know what kind of character they'll eventually become and I guess, that keeps them closer to my heart.
Design plays no small part in that decision as well. Incidentally, I noticed all three of my current Plumerians share Grey/White coats with Black and Primary colors as accents ; v ;
