I'm thinking of writing a Neutral, then going Genocide in a sequal.
Do you all think people would read it?

So I'm planning on drawing Mettaton soon, but I'm afraid I'm going to mess him up (I'm a perfectionist and I've literally bitten paper in half due to a drawing not going as well as planned, since I also have anger issues). I'm not good at drawing poses so.. any tips?

Anatomy drawing tips: think about comparing certain parts to other parts. the thigh is longer than the shin, correct? where is the elbow in relation to the torso when the arm is resting at the side? the answer is around the bottom of the ribcage. at what point of the thigh do the hands end when they are at rest? look at poses, study them.

Gerneral drawing tip: draw a lot. allow yourself to make imperfect work when you're practicing. when you are done with your drawing, never, EVER, look at it and go "yeah this is good enough" or "ughhhh this is no good i give up!". EVALUATE your work. most of the time, every drawing has some sort of way it could be improved. WHY is it not right? is it the arms? legs? eyes? focus on fixing those mistakes. research, look at properly drawn legs, arms, etc. so what did you do right? what part are you happy about? recognise your strenghs and weaknesses. dont let go of your strengths and fix your weaknesses by knowing what they are.

also, if you can, look at your picture in a different view. flip your image horizontally on digital programs or take a picture of it on your mobile device and flip it through an app. all the flaws will be more apparent this way. when you look at the picture you are drawing for a long time, your eyes get too used to it and doesn't know what's right and what isn't right sometimes.

when you are making a big project, so sketching, lineart, colouring, the whole deal, be a perfectionist TO AN EXTENT. you don't like how this thing looks? draw it again. however, be realistic in expectations. for example, im not good at colouring, so for a major project im aiming for my colouring to be ok, but im not expecting it to be great. however i am quite decent on anatomy, so im aiming for my anatomy to be pretty good, and if it turns out odd on the first sketch, i'll redraw it because i know i can do better. of course, you can only know your strengths and weaknesses through practicing first, so yep, practice, evaluate weaknesses, practice weaknesses, evaluate improvement, and so on.

in conclusion, the more efficiently you practice, the faster you'll improve! oops i rambled

on topic, if anyone has read the reapertale comics let me just say i have so many feelin gs for it omy life

chara is so well portrayed in reapertale! i really love the back story on how and why sans was created on what not, the au is just so well composed. the recent comics on the au on renrink's tumblr is so dramatic and so good aaa
