✦ Snowdin was quiet on that particular day. Well, it was a quiet town, anyway, but nothing weird
had happened as of late, which meant that Sans and Papyrus weren't out and doing their thing quite yet. Which
also meant that it was up to Blitzen to keep everyone.. entertained, to say the least. Not that he was very entertaining,
but he'd strike up a conversation and talk to anyone for hours.
The tall figure stood by the "Welcome to Snowdin" sign, leaning against it and swaying to music that seemingly
wasn't even playing. He jammed his hand in his pocket and fished around for something before pulling out a
cigarette and lighting it, sticking it in the corner of his mouth and looking around. He brushed his dark hair away
from his skeletal eye socket and straightened, walking into town. He paused as he passed the shop, blinking
a few times. He thought he smelled something lovely. Maybe the shopkeeper was making cinnamon buns again.
Wonderful. He continued on his way, figuring he'd head on down to Grillby's for a burger.
Blitzen promptly entered the pub with a grin, which was a bit grotesque looking. Good old Grillbz was at the
counter polishing glasses, which wasn't out of the ordinary. He swaggered over and sat down at the counter,
still grinning. He propped his chin on his hand and batted his eyelashes.. on his left eye, at least. "'Ayy,
Grillby, old pal."

Isaac was rather surprised, to say the least, at her offer. He took a small moment to actually process it before he agreed with a quick nod, clasping his hands together at his chest and smiling somewhat nervously. "S-sure, it would definitely be warm in there, because y-you know... nevermind." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, turning to head over towards the building. He sort of thought over what she mentioned, going through and replaying it in his head. Alphys? Wasn't she the royal scientist? He had seen her lab, but never before saw her. It sounded like Undyne knew her personality but, there's always the possibility it's just a co-worker almost relationship. But he didn't really know.
"Alphys? Doctor Alphys, r-right?" Isaac questioned with a slight tip of his head. "A-are you two like, friends?" He almost regretted his question afterwards, but he would have to see what she said to really tell. It seemed like an odd question to ask.

Toriel was still sitting down by the door of the Ruins. It was so quiet. And that was, in a way, a good thing - she was left alone in peace to her thoughts. But that vanished as the boss monster remembered she had to check for humans, if any had fallen down. With slow and graceful movements, she stood up and dusted herself off, smoothing the wrinkles of her dress. She headed down the long hallway, up the stairs, and finally out the door. As Toriel passed, she hummed a small tune to herself, hands clasped together in front of her. But when she arrived in the dark room, there was a flicker of fire. A lion. And then screams - more people had fallen down. She felt saddened they were trapped from their family. But Toriel didn't have much time to linger on the thought as her focus returned to the now.
"What is going on?" The former queen asked, her voice raised with a stern tone to it. She narrowed her eyes for a moment before she lit up her own flames to see more clearly in the dark room.
