Read PM. DnD = Dungeons and Dragons, a tabletop RP game by Wizards of the Coast, they are on 4.0 where they 'dummed it down' leaving characters with only about 1/20th the customization ability as in 3.5, although I will admit that to play 3.5 it takes a large bookcase just to hold all the rulebooks.

Ranged weapon damage:
Bow: 2+ 1/2 int + 1/2 str
X-bow: 4+int
other: 2+str
