i agree with this on so many levels. Running a popular adoptables shop is tough work and requires a lot more dedication than i first thought. Not that i'm not willing to give that dedication, i always am. But it's definitely hard.

There are so many good adoptables out there though c: off the top of my head i can name so many; AMs, Hoot-Mews, Peach Pandas, Ikplets, the list goes on. I love watching the successful ones grow c:

Exactly^^ It's very time consuming, but we all find ways to make it work.
Especially with archiving *shiver* I used to do AM archives by owner, with names, ID#s, etc on each AM and ooh my it was terrible in so many ways >.< I have no clue how you manage to archive the bank like you do..

My favorite adoptable of all time is Hymns <333 They were amazing oh my. And super popular. Hence why I was never able to get my hands on one *cries*

But I'm not popular? I get what you're saying though. Especially when it comes to running something (no matter what it is) that is really popular. But I've learned to lighten up in all situations and just have fun :)

I FEEL THIS ON SUCH A PERSONAL LEVEL oh my.
Hence why I switched to the litter archives + a co-op. So. Much. Easier.

But yes, I agree with Archer and Minette. Running an adoptable shop can really take a toll on you.
I happen to have a bad tendency of piling work onto myself, and on top of that, I'm an unhealthy perfectionist. Cx I think the Valentine's Event I ran killed me. Haha. But I refuse to get staff ;n; hello everyone my hobbies are slowly killing myself

I also agree with this fully. I feel like everyone with a refined, popular adoptable shop is extremely business-like and no-nonsense. It actually makes me weary to adopt from it...
I try to be a nice person, but I happen to be very blunt, and I'm afraid of encountering a customer where I have to put them in their place >_< Does anyone else feel that way?

xD this is why Raire 'hired' someone to do the cup bunny's archive.

As for adoptables,I attempted to make one. Got the line art all done, but lost interest when it came time to setting up the thread and doing the colouring.
