Meet Quetzalcoatl!

He is very awkward, still learning things about the modern world, but a smol amount of his history
Quezalcoatl, a mako named after a mesoamerican god, is a makoatl with very little experience in the modern world. Born into a old, Aztec-like civilization, isolated from the normal, technologised world we have today, he grew into tradition. He learned the language, the gods, the culture. Everything without knowing that out there, beyond the confines of his small yet triumphant tribe, was a whole other culture of its own.
One day, while out swimming in his warrior quest to hunt a great white shark, he was caught in the twirling engines of a motorboat carelessly passing by, which wounded him and got him drowned enough to fall unconscious but not enough to take his life. Lucky for him, he washed up on a shore before the last of his breath was taken. Sadly, however, it was not in his native land. Quetzal wandered around the beach, decorated in his tribe's warrior armor, until he found another makoatl by the name of Noah. He was not wearing his tribe's markings, and he spoke a language Quetzal had never heard before. Little by little, Noah taught Quetzalcoatl some basic English as well as some basic facts around the world. Quetzalcoatl told him something about his own world too.
A few months later, when Quetzal was healed up enough to leave, he and his friend parted ways, going their own different directions in life.
