Dewpaw was almost bouncing in excitement but managed to contain it for the most part. She knew Echopaw would definitely be teasing her about this as soon as her training was over for the day.

"Okay, well, it's important to know, so I'll teach you,"Sunrisewing replied, getting low to the ground. She gathered her haunches, ready to spring. "So what you want to do is to leap over the badger,"the cream tabby said, leaping in the air, landing squarely on all four paws. "And while you're at it, try to swipe at it with your back claws,"she explained. "Then you swipe at them from behind." Sunrisewing finished, and glanced back at Dewpaw and Cedarpaw. "Do you understand?" she asked, blinking her clear blue eyes.

Echowhisker padded to the kill pile, and waited until the kits walked over. He picked out a fat vole, and showed it to the kits. "How about this? it probably tastes really good, wont it?" He used extra enthusiasm to exite the kits even more, that they were out of the nursery.

Rookfur smiled and watched the excited kits
She sighed and turned around , laying down on the grass

Ashkit dropped to the ground, pretending to stalk Amberstripe. He raced at her, crashing into Rookfur in the process. "Ow.."he said, and looked up to see a gray-brown queen. "Oops! Sorry!" The black and white kit squeaked.

" it's fine " she said , she laughed and she asked " what are you playing " she crouched down on the ground and pretended to chase invisible prey

"Warrior and mouse!" He exclaimed. "I'm the warrior!" He squeaked, puffing out his chest.

Amberstripe stood aimlessly while waiting for ashkit leaping on her. She smelled his scent nearby and knew that he would come soon. After hearing him talking following with rookfur's voice she stopped standing there and went over to see what was taking ashkit so long to come.
