thinking that there won't really be a limit; but you'd be limited to how many 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. they can own. so over all you can always keep owning more, but you can only have so many 1st gen and so many 2nd gen and so on.

Also im thinking to help out non owners i'll make some for non owners only (may be free or much cheaper) and im going to slow down on adopts, maybe one a day so its easier to fill in the archives.

maybe open a pound as well for unwanted sharkies, just a page made just for owners to post sharkies for re-adoption.

If we limit every generation, then theres gonna be bby's you cant breed, and eventually if you keep breeding for lower generations theres gonna be a cross of genes, I dont want mah sharkies breedin w their ancestors 030 plus its gonna be really hard to keep track of, its gonna end up having gens being really important but really I think we should just limit first, maybe second gens. And hey, if someone is willing to pay to breed and buy all these sharkies, theyre not going to a bad home...

Also perhaps an official rp thread, and other seperate rp threads? And in the official one, all sharkies mates and relatives are their mates and relatives irp, but on the other ones they can be related to whoever you like ?

Also maybe no limits to breeding because I was planning to breed some of my first gens, then breed some of the resulting second gens so I could make a bigger giveaway for people with no sharkies

gonna throw in my own 2 cents here ~

i have seven sharkies now but the ironic thing is i only bought three from first gen adopts and the other four from breedings, and i havent gotten any customs or breedings [though once i do start doing breedings, im planning on adopting / gifting some out to nonowners]
i agree that there should be a limit on how many first gen adopts you can get, say 15, but i dont think there should be a generation limit, not even on second gens, mainly because i feel like it would be a pain to keep track of and because personally i hate nursery limits.
but, i also feel like customs should not count toward the adoption / first gen limit, and i think it would be worth considering to be able to buy additional first gen slots. like for example, the first extra 1g slot costs 1c$, the second additional slot costs 2c$, the third costs 3c$, the fourth 4c$, so on and so forth so that each additional slot costs one more c$ than the slot before it [or maybe more than 1 if that would help?]
maybe also have a limit on first gen rare sharkies that could be either part of or separate from the regular first gen limit, and to buy another rare first gen slot would costs twice as much as a regular first gen slot [first slot is 2c$, second is 4c$, third is 6c$, etc. etc.], and i would also like to suggest an MYO [make your own] competition, where people can design one custom sharkie [using non official lines], and the winners could have their designs transfered to official lines [but would not count as a first gen adopt], and if people want they could pay to have theirs transfered and be made 'official'.
i also do like the idea of having nonowner / cheaper batches every so often to introduce new people to the community, and as a suggestion maybe have 'rp batches' every now and then, where instead of paying to adopt, you have to convince the sharkie to trust you? a pound / readoption center for unwanted sharkies also sounds like a good idea

these are just some ideas i came up with and i know theres probably flaws in them so id love to hear feedback on some of them
also im on almost every day and would be more than willing to help with keeping track of / organizing things

10 of mine don't have names yet 030 wow, time for some name-storming, so basically just searching the internet for nice names for them :)
