Okay so I have around 900 points and
I want a new character ;-;
something unique? No dogs or cats or horses, or dragons or anything like that.
Unique.

He's my first and only character that's like...insane...the borderline dangerous kind. X3 I mean, I have Sawyer, who was driven mad because he's been stranded on some desert isle in the middle of nowhere for several years. X3 But the difference between the two is quite vast. X3

How do you go about creating an original species? Do you begin with this intent? Or do you perhaps design a creature and then let it become a whole species? Do you ever feel conflicted about whether to establish a species or allow the creature to remain unique?
Well, for my species, Flashlighters, it really came about from me thinking: Hey! A species with a flashlight for a tail would be cool! X3
Then I started thinking about it more seriously. Originally, they were going to be dogs, but I thought that was too average, so I thought of other species that I liked and I decided upon a red panda. X3 Then I started subtracting elements from the red panda and adding things from other species that I liked. Skin flaps like a sugar glider, ear tufts like that ones species of squirrel I can't think of right now, the nose looks a bit different like a bat (but still a bit like a red panda), and then I thought about accessories and thought it'd be cool if they collected mini flashlights or key-chain flashlights. X3
I think my original intent was to make them appealing to others since I wanted them to be an adoptable species. X3 I feel like my species is pretty unique, but that's just me. X3
I kinda want to re-boot my species, but I kinda need to set up a contest or find someone willing to make the species lines. ^^;

Just did an idea generator, and got this babe

Sparkly pink pomeranian. Its eyes are pitch black and cause those who look directly into them for too long to slowly grow older. It is the leader of an association of villains.

So of course I'm drawing it!

alright, i love characters with stars: they collect stars, they have star stuff, they have stars in their design... stars
i have 1k points to spend (though i kind of don't want to spend all of it on this character bit i might)

i usually like more natural colors, but quite a few of my characters are unnatural, so honestly it doesn't matter natural vs unnatural, just send me what you've got!
