Clan of the Pines! (Warriors RP)

Pinefrond's eyes opened quickly. She heard mewling kits... Her eyes widened in horror as she saw her kit... Suddenly a young kit stumbled over on chubby paws and short legs, weary from lack of food... Pinefrond licked Bluekit's head. She encouraged her to suckle...

Shadowclaw looked down at Pinefrond and Bluekit wondering if she would start to suckle. "Would it be alright if you helped to feed my kits?" He asked nervously not wanting to push the new queen into feeding them after just loseing her kit.

Moonkit sat down with the other kits next to their father all watching Bluekit anciously. They could smell the milk causeing them to mewl hungrily hopeing that their sister had found the source.

Pinefrond's eyes watered, but she nodded. "I have plenty... No reason not too..." She said.

Ghostkit could bare it no more, he ran over. The other kits followed, all suckling hungrily.

"they're beautiful... If I may know their names?" Pinefrond asked

Shadowclaw nodded looking down at the kits suckling. "Their names are Ghostkit, Larkkit, Shadekit, Bluekit, Sunkit, and Moonkit." He answered motioning to each kit with a paw as he said their name. "Thank you for feeding them." He said quietly glad that his kits would finally get some milk.

Pinefrond smiled back. "they're beautiful. And it is my honour to feed your kits. You saved me, and helped with my...kit..." She choked. "Whatever happened to their mother?"

Shadowclaw nodded his tahnks looking down at the kits. "It is starclans doing. That is their mother right over there." He said turning to point towards Dapplelight's body. "We do not know how long she will be like that." He said looking down sadly wishing she were back.

[Wintaria]

She looked over at Dapplelight. "I'm sorry... I'm sure it must be hard on you... I'll look after the kits."

Bluekit slumped down, full, warm, and tired. Yawning, she fell asleep. Ghostkit followed soon after. Sunkit was drowsed, and found himself gone within moments.

Shadowclaw shook his head slightly not wanting to bother the new queen. "I don't want to put the burden on you." He said not wanting to have another queen care for his kits. Seeing Moonkit walk over he quickly curled up around her knowing she would enjoy the warmth while sleeping.

Shadekit and Larkkit curled up with the other kits following their example and falling asleep. Moonkit turned back from the other kits moveing sleepily to Shadowclaw. She curled up against his side with a yawn falling asleep

The kits cont sleeping...
Pinefrond looked at the kits, "they're no burden. If they are, I'll figure something out..."
