@LittleMoon, Aria is basically human, she can use a tiny bit of magic from the stump of her horn that was left when she was transformed but she's essentially human (and VERY frustrated about it) XD I was thinking that Aria might ask Lynette to help her search for the horn? Would that be alright with you?

♠ Februus "Bruus" Algol ♣
Name: Februus "Bruus" Algol
Species: Ghoul
Gender: Male
Age: 20 - 21
Occupation: Writer, toy maker/puppeteer
Language: English, Latin
Profile: Februus has shoulder length dark hair, equally dark eyes and pale skin. Standing at 5' 7", he's lithe in build and swift and agile on his feet with quick reflexes and a keen eye. His voice is soft with a rich edge, and he often speaks in a unique manner; both something of a reprimand and an exasperated sigh, with the occasional amused or impressed undertone. He wears a black cloak with his hood pulled down low, as if to obscure his face - particularly his eyes. A silver locket hangs around his neck, though very few people have ever actually seen it with their own eyes, let alone its contents. He always carries a silver knife, which he tucks into his boot.
When working in his shop, he wears a plain black vest over a simple white, long sleeved shirt and a pair of black pants with his boots. He also wears a black top hat adorned with white, purple and blue ribbons, slanted so that the rim and shadows shower his right eye in shade.
Personality: As something of a misanthrope, Februus generally tries to avoid people and may, at first, be snippy with strangers or retreat altogether. While he remains cautious of unfamiliar faces, he will, eventually, open up; however, he must do this on his own terms. Though forcing him out of his shell early has varying results, he will more than likely temporarily or permanently withdraw. He is known to become disgruntled as well, but Februus is, again, more likely to retreat than become irritable.
Underneath his rough exterior, he's easily amused and so subtly passive aggressive that many who cross paths with him don't recognize this until later. At the same time, he's very polite and kind with his customers, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He adores and is great with kids. Though he can be serious and severe when the situation calls for it, he's generally laid back and disinterested in what's going on in the city, not wanting to get involved in its drama. He does have a curious side to him, though, in spite of this and will keep tabs on what little news that interests him - specifically the recent body count.
History: Bruus's history is like ripples on water, or cracks in mirrors: warped, distorted. When he was a toddler, his parents were killed under unclear circumstances and he was raised by his grandmother from that point on. He was homeschooled, and though he was taught a wide variety of subjects and skills, his grandmother made a point to teach him literature, history and Latin in particular. She also taught him how to make toys (namely puppets) and other trinkets, and he began to make a living off of his toy making skills when he turned sixteen, eventually opening up a shop. He began writing when he turned eighteen, though he rarely showed his works to anyone until his early to mid twenties. Bruus has since started writing a horror-paranormal fiction novel inspired in part by the current events going on in the city, and his own experiences as a ghoul.
Abilities: As a ghoul he can assume the form of animals, namely hyenas. He also has enhanced, but not necessarily invincible, strength and a heightened sense of smell.
Weaknesses: Like anyone else, Bruus is vulnerable to lack of food and will starve to death if he doesn't eat for long stretches of time. His greatest weakness is the smell of flesh, especially decaying flesh.
(I haven't studied much of this time period yet...please forgive me if I fumble a bit.)

Accepted! Also, as someone obsessed with the Victorian Era, I'm more than willing to help! Don't worry about!
Well, I'm back from Tanzania. It felt more like two years than two weeks, but I'll be back to roleplaying by tonight. I hope you all are well and that my absence hasn't been too much of a detriment. I should be on regularly for the rest of the year
