Lin made a right into another room. Like the last one, this one had a puzzle. Three rocks sat there, staring blankly at him waiting to be pushed. He flicked his blazing tail and walked towards the unactivated bridge. He stared at the water for a second, before leaping in. His tail would seem to go out, but it doesn't harm him at all. The flame on his tail can never go out, making it perfectly normal to be submerged underwater. Also it made the water warmer, representing a nice hot tub. He sighed and sat in the water finally getting sometime to himself without a Froggit using his tail as a torch.

undyne pulled on a jacket as she prepared to make her weekly rounds in snowdin, pulling her scarlet hair into a ponytail and draping her unruly bangs over her eyepatch. a long blue spear materialized in her palm, merely from habit, and she slung it over her shoulder as she marched out from her fish-themed house.

undyne's yellow gaze flitted across the town lazily as she arrived, the gentle snowfall putting flecks of white in her hair like sparkles. nothing seemed out of the ordinary - save for an interesting looking monster all by his lonesome, slumped against a tree and staring at the hotel with a strange look in his eye. undyne lifted one brow and marched in that direction, sticking her spear into the tree right above his head and propping an arm against it. "heya kid, whatcha doin' out here in the cold?" she asked with a tip of her head, her bright yellow gaze trained to his friendly blue one.

Isaac practically jumped out of his skin as the fish lady stuck her spear right above his head. He gathered himself with a quiet gulp and looked up at her, shrinking ever-so-slightly as he recognized who it was. He heard about her. There was that one kid who was always talking about her - Undyne was her name.
Isaac smiled nervously, glancing at the spear. "Oh, um, you know...!" He tried to sound nonchalant, which failed. "I-I heard about you, Undyne right? Yeah, that's cool, there's this one kid, they always talk about you, very short, striped shirt, you know the deal, I heard a lot, you're apparently very awesome, not that I don't agree 'cause I do, but you know!!" He was practically flailing his arms at this point, talking very quickly in his sudden flurry of nervousness. It wasn't until a while later until he realized what he was doing, and laughed nervously. "S-sorry!"

Chara Dreemurr
The small child hid in the shadows, her watchful gaze directed at Toriel. She leaned forward very slightly, trying to get a glimpse of what her mother was reading. Probably some stupid book about snails or whatever, she thought. Chara leaned back again, her eyes never leaving Toriel. What does she find so fascinating about reading anyway? How... interesting.

Dr. Alphys
Alphys picked up a few noodles with her chopsticks, eating them slowly. The Anime she was currently watching was almost over, and had only about a minute left. She stuck the chopsticks into the small container again, and looked down in shock when she found that she had eaten all the noodles. She shifted slightly, putting the container down and watching the last little bit. When it was over, she stood up, stretching slightly. She wondered if she should go out and talk with someone in Hotland, but immediately discarded the thought because of the possibility of embarrassing herself in front of everyone.

undyne uprooted her spear ( almost uprooting the tree as well ) and it faded from view at her will, warping oddly before practically vaporizing. she let out a hearty laugh at isaac's reaction to her presence and his flailing nervousness, flashing a snaggletoothed grin at the short monster. "well, can't say i'm not flattered, punk!" she laughed, thanking him in her own personal way by giving him a not-so-gentle punch on the shoulder. "hey, what's your name, anyways?" the guard asked after she was finished guffawing at poor isaac's nervous breakdown. undyne placed her hands on her hips and leaned against the tree, her yellow gaze still trained downwards at isaac. "i don't believe i've ever seen you when i come around here. maybe you've been inside or something. do you live in snowdin?"

Lin was drifting away into sleep when he heard a snap. His ears flicked toward and his differently colored eyes snapped into focus. A Froggit was arguing with one of the rocks. Lin growled; why are Froggits everywhere? He leaped out of the stream of water and his tail ignited as soon as it was out of the water. He sighed and leaped pasted the Froggit into another room. This room had a floor that could fall out under your feet at any second. Lin leaped over the floor and wandered into a safer room. This room and leaves here and there, perhaps a better place for a nap. He curled up on the patch of leaves closest to him and slept not realizing the small fire he had created.

Isaac clasped his hands together slowly, but his eye widened as he was punched in the shoulder, to which he rubbed the area. he glanced upwards slightly as he desperately searched for a quick answer to give. He didn't want to embarrass himself much farther in front of Undyne. "Oh, y-you know! I don't really live here, just visiting!" I l-live in Hotland, s-so that's... uh, well you know! And uh, I-I'm Isaac! It's great t-to see you!" He finished, smiling nervously again.

Toriel almost thought she heard something, but brushed it to the side as nothing. Instead, she placed the book to the side with a bookmark in it and quickly headed down to the door of the Ruins. She sometimes liked to go there, as it was a quiet place for thinking. And so she sat beside the door, clearing her mind.

Lin woke slowly due to extreme heat. Yes, he culd survive fire and lava, but it still was unpleasant. He turned his head to see an orange wall of flames on his leaf pile, spreading across the room. He leaped off the pile in alarm; shooting a glare at his flaming tail. He turned around to see Froggits and other monsters running around flailing all over the place. Really useless creatures if you asked him. He already peiced together that he couldn't stop the fire, he'd just make it worse. So, he sat down and tried to look innocent.

Gaster was bored.
All things considered, this was a surprisingly rare occurrence. Usually he was too caught up fighting against his own growing insanity to have the energy to be bored, and yet... today his head was astonishingly calm.
He took the time to wander the edges of reality, peering in on the world he once inhabited as he moved through the shadows. As he moved through the Ruins, he felt a presence that stirred up memories, and not all good ones.
Chara...
He moved towards the unnerving child, his form causing the shadows to darken around her. He wondered briefly if Chara would be aware of his presence.
Being this close to reality made him feel uncomfortable, and a niggling feeling grew in the back of his skull.

Chara watched as Toriel left, then shrugging very lightly when she was gone. She didn't really need to follow her. Suddenly she felt as though there was something... near her. The shadows seemed to grow darker, and then she noticed Gaster just... there. Her smile widened slightly. "Hello." She spoke that one word in a cheerful way, although it had a darker edge to it.
