Personality: Marquis de Mariette, a very odd plume to meet. What makes her so odd? Well she's a bit of a space cadet. Head always in the clouds, eyes always to the skies, she's a bright beam of sunlight that just isn't always focused. Not that that's such a bad thing really. Always the extroverted-introvert, she seems overly excitable, loud, easy-going and fun loving but in truth she truly only adapts to those situations until she can find a place to recharge her social energy. While she'd much rather be curled up with a book to read than be at a party, she plays her part as an extrovert well and finds she can definitely enjoy herself either way, despite it taking a lot out of her. Another aspect about Marquis is this: She's a romantic. That's right. She believes in romance. Running her own romantic novelty shop "A Kiss for Two", she spends her days daydreaming about a handsome prince, beautiful princess, or of course a lovely ruler. Either way she hopes to one day have a love of her own, but currently she works to bring others together with advice, romance tips and of course just the right gift for him, her or them. Hardworking, despite her spacey aura, she believes it takes dedication to get something in order like a relationship or a business. As a result she takes pride in her small little shop as she worked from the ground up.

Marquis wasn't always such a romantic though and secretly she still isn't. At a young age her parents died in a tragic car accident. Taken in by aunts and uncles from Rio de Janiero and Spain, Marquis always thought of her parents to be happily, deeply and madly in love and when they had her to be even more so. Growing up in Brazil, and some of the time France and Spain, Marquis discovered the beauty of love lied not in Paris, France with it's lovely Eiffel Towers and baguettes, but in it's dances and she found that the same held true in both Rio and Spain. She was enchanted by stories of princes and princesses, but also of star-crossed lovers and broken hearts. Never would she ever put herself in their shoes though, but their stories were always so beautiful to her. How she came to own her own novelty shop is fairly simple. Seeing as her aunts and uncles and of course many cousins were growing up, it was time to leave the nest so to speak and so she went off in search of a fortune of her own to discover.
