Why twistedtale?

Twistedtale is basically set a few years ahead of the original Undertale. By then, all
the monsters have gone insane. This includes everyone but Asriel Dreemur. You can
get to him in two ways, out of love or hate.

The main question is, will you go genocide or pacifist?

Page 1.

You fell. You don't know how far you did, but the whipping of your hair and sweater told you it was far. You opened your eyes, a golden patch of flowers beneath your hands. You, being only 12, look around quietly, Unsure of what do do, you look around, forcing yourself to sit up right.

Ahead of you is a small flower, but it had a face. Its dark eyes stood out from its pale face. Its golden petals waving in the steady breeze of the... where? you look away for a brief moment. your eyes scanning the souroundings. You look back to the flower, only, there is no flower. You here a soft cackled behind you and you turn around. The flower glares into your eyes. Its raspy voice was like nails on a chalk board.

"You shouldn't be here..." The flower tilted his head and shook as he stifled a laugh. "Your doomed! You'll be killed!" he laughed. This shocked you and you take a step back. The flower grew quiet and glared behind you. He quickly looked back towards you, was he shaking?

You wish to know more about this flower, but you don't want to be stuck here with the flower. You also want to know what he was looking at and why he was suddenly scared.

Converse with the flower?- Turn and leave?

You decide to stay with the flower, you remain quiet as he bobbed his head up and down. "I'm Flowey, the flower." He giggled softly, narrowing his dark eyes. He had white, glaring pupils. "Why did you decide to come to the underground? You'll only get killed here." He seemed amused at the fact. You shiver and take another step back.

A shocked look appeared on his face, then he hunched over and went rigid. "Your choice." He growled. Suddenly, you feel a closed hand on your shoulder. You gasp in alarm and jump forwards, turning around to see a... goat?

You stare queitly as the human, goat thing looks at you curiously. "I won't hurt you, my deary." She chrips quickly. Her eyes were also dark, she had blue circles as pupils. "My name i-is toriel." She stuck out a paw eagerly, her eyes seemed almost worried. You shake her paw, "Follow me, I have much to shoe you!" She gigled like a little girl, but something about her was off...

You follow her.

You decided to turn around quickly to leave the flower. His laugh grew louder as you entered the darkness. Soon, you saw a figure. A human looking figure. Hope. You start to walk faster, your determination giving you a boost of strength. But then you stop. The figure went rigid and came towards you. Then it disappeared.

Suddenly, you feel a closed hand on your shoulder. You gasp in alarm and jump forwards, turning around to see a... goat?

As you walk near the lady goat, she seemed to be shaking with new excitement, Her blue pupils looking around the darkness. Soon, light filtered into the massive cave. You got a sickening feeling as you realized you were being led somewhere unknown, by a walking goat. You passed out.

You wake up in a bed, so you laugh at your dream. It was funny to think that you would actually hike up a mountain, meet a creepy flower, then meet a walking goat. But then you realize that the bed your sleeping in wasn't yours. It was softer and warmer. You jump out of the bed, and look around. You see toys, and a slice of pie, around your room. The smell of cinnamon and butterscotch wafted through the room.

You edge your way to the pie, afraid of its 'all mighty powers'. You grab the pie and decide not to eat it now. You store it into your magical food bag that doesn't seem to have an end to it. You find your way out of the room, and enter an area where you see a door, a front door. But then there were stairs that had a chain on it. There is another doorway, leading to a dining table.

Go down the stairs? - Explore the dining room?

You go down the stairs. The old wooden planks creaking beneath you shoes. at first, you thought the stairs would never end, until you found a dusty, purple hallway. It was long, but lit by torches. You take a few curious steps, but you stopped, unsure if you should go down the hallway.

You faulter.

Go back and explore the other room? - Go down the hallway?

You go to explore the dining room. A warm feeling washes over you as you look around. It was neat, but you can tell it was aged. The goat lady was rocking in a chair with her eyes focused on the fire. Her hands constantly moving in any way possible. Was she mad [crazy]?

You take a step forwards and her dark eyes flick to you. "I-I never told you my name! I'm Toriel, caretaker of the Ruins!" She she chriped and put out a shaky paw, but quickly put it back down. "I did tell you my name?" She gave a sad look, and shook her head. "You can stay here with me! I have food, water, a loving home, books!" Sure raised a book on her lap with a twitchy smile. You nod, but you don't want to stay here...

You go to the tunnel.

you wander down the tunnel quietly, a draft coming from around the corner. you stop, afraid of what you may see next. you peak through the corner, you see a huge door. you quickly go over to it, and tried to open it. its locked. a voice comes from behind you, almost like a shreek.

"Get away from there human!" Toriel's normally stuttering voice squealed as she shoved you away from the door. she held both paws up to the door and gave a hard glare. "You'll be killed out there" she growled. Her eyes started to water as she stood up straight, fire sparking from her hands. "Go back human, or face me."

You decide there was nothing for you back there. If you were going to leave this place, you would have to go against her. Her eyes watered as she broke into a sob "Don't do this! I haven't kept a single human safe!" Her eyes went completely black "Fight me human!"

Fight her? - Try to comfort her?

you shake your head and take another step back. Her eyes flicker. You say you don't want to fight her.

"No! You must fight me!" She howled as she sent flames in your direction, you quickly jump out of the way of the beam of fire. You see tears pooring down toriels face. "I can't let you die out there!" She screamed as fire sparked from her hands. She lit balls of fire around the room, you dodged them but got burned slightly in the process. You let out a gasp of pain and hold your arm tightly. Toriel, seeing she hurt you, had more tears streaming down her face. "Just go upstairs! I can take care of you..." She whimpered. Youshook your head and closed your eyes, expecting death.

Toriel fell to her knees her mouth open in awe. She lost. She lost to someone who didn't fight. You look up, seeing her in pure shock and sorrow. He get up, clutching your burnt arm, and hug her. she hugs you back. You don't know how long you hugged, but it was until toriel stopped crying. She smiled now, her eyes focused on the door. "I will let you go. But don't come back, it is too dangerous." She whispered.

She opened the door, unlocking it quickly. The door groaned open and she smiled "Be careful. Not all monsters will be like me..." She smiled and walked away.
