"Well if Skykit is asleep... Want to go hunting or patrolling with me?" Hawk wing asked with a smile

Night paw looked at her quiziacally, "what do you mean she left?"

Rivermist flicked his nose with her tail. "Alright, I'm in," she said, a slight purr to her voice.

Turtle watched Nightpaw. "She didn't feel safe anymore. She wasn't satisfied with her life here, so she left." she said, her voice still holding a faint bit of confusion.

Hawkwing let out a rough purr as he got to his paws, "let's go then!" He said And began to stride towards the camp entrance.

Nightpaw got a worried look on his face, "it's tough to live alone once you've left your clan." He said knowing he has no control over brining rosefeather back or not. He sighed looking down at his herb store. "what's happening to my clan, Turtle? Everyone is drifting away from clan ways... Even me..." He said the last part quietly to himself.

Turtle stepped forward, brushing against him comfortingly, a gesture of kindness. "I don't fully understand your ways, and I don't think that I fully will. But don't worry. She wasn't alone," she reassured.

Rivermist followed close to him, but just far enough away that their fur didn't touch.

Nightpaw looked up at her last comment, "what do you mean she wasn't alone?" His eyes were filled with panic, "who else left?" The jet back Tom stiffened with anxiety and fear for his clan mates. His fur began to stand on end and he had to dig his claws into the ground to keep form pacing

Turtle thought for a moment. "He wasn't familiar. He didn't smell like LakeClan, and he didn't look like anyone from around here," she said, a worried gleam in her eyes from his panic.

Nightpaw's ears flattened in sadness, "she left to be with a loner you mean?" He said his fur lying flat, "that makes it worse. It's against clan law to have a mate outside the clan."

Turtle shrugged. "Maybe she felt like she didn't want to hurt anyone if she had kits or something, so she left.." she offered, not wanting to see him so worried.

"Yes... But now we've lost a clan member." Night paw sighed then shook his head before looking at her with a weak smile, "sorry for letting my worries get to me."

Cloudpaw smiled, as if to say you're welcome. Once he made sure the hole was large enough, he set the vole inside and scraped dirt over it with his back paws. Cloudpaw then silently crept through the dense forest; scenting the air for prey. Unfortunately, he didn't pick up any scents quite yet, so he kept on searching.
