"Where to, madam?" Ishmael asked as he walked, quickly. He had every appearance to a formal-looking, nice guy, wearing a tuxedo that he often wore as a disguise, a hat, and sunglasses.

"The convinience store. My mom and dad have worked there since I could say my ABC's." Mae replied. "Ooh, is this your car? What a beeeeaaautiful car." Skipping along beside him, she hummed and danced. She was wearing what looked like a school uniform, with a white T-shirt perfectly unstained, a formal-looking jacket, and a plaid skirt, and little, red velvety mary janes that went, "clickety click" when she skipped along.

Such a pity, wearing formal clothing to a dirty hideout. They will get soiled in no time. Ever heard of dirt? Hay? Rodent droppings?

When will she shut up? Ishmael thought, his hands gripping his gun now. All that noise is going to bring every villager down on us. Finally getting to his car, he opened it and got in.

Ishmael sat at the front seat, his eyes narrowed. The girl still sang behind him, and he groaned. "Girl, be quiet. I need to concentrate."

No more Mr. Nice Guy, no siree. Ishmael leered, tucking dark brown hair behind his hat. He could yell at her all he wanted. He had a lisence plate covered with a fake one. And the windows were shaded. She could scream and wail and kick, but no way. It was her own foolishness that had gotten her here.

Stupid little girl.


“Are you…mad at me, Sir?” Mae asked, instantly frightened.

What do you think? Without a word, Ishmael turned the motor on, hearing it sputter to life, then fall dead again. Swearing loudly, Ishmael turned the motor again, then after it failing, slammed his hand against the wheel. After a few more tries, he finally got it to work, and zoomed out and away, Mae in tow.

Kacy slipped into the car and shut the door. She didn't bother with her seatbelt, she had a little trust in Chris if not a lot and she sipped her coffee. "What is your family like?" She thought the first thing that came to mind though she bit her lip wondering if it was too perosnal.

Kacy looked at him "Oh, okay" She murmured before thinkin for a second. "Umm, okay i got one" She said then finished with her question "If there was one thing you could have or change, what would it be?" She asked turning her eyes to looked at him. She sipped her coffee again realizing it was half empty.

Ishmael kept his eyes locked on the road ahead. His fingers were gripping the wheel intensely; so tight that the leather was wet with the young man's sweat. Sitting in the passenger seat behind him, the little girl kept babbling on; expecting him to listen, and actually chat with her. She still haven't noticed that you don't randomly go into strangers' cars, but that was a good thing. Very good, actually. He could use this advantage. Witnesses would overlook him easily, because of that girl's personality, they would just simply assume that he was the girl's brother, or boyfriend, coming to pick her up. To what? A dinner party? Probably, judging on his black tux and top hat, and her skirt, pink jacket, nice little shoes, and a delicate white shirt. However, talkative targets were the hardest type to contain. Well sure, most of them were so ditzy that it would be easy to extract information from them, but hard to contain it. The constables would be onto them if she talked.

The police were already suspecting him for the disapearance of some random 17-year-old, he didn't need this to add onto his criminal record. It was so simple: Drop the girl off into the barn, keep her mouth shut, his work was done, he'd be free to go and capture another. However, the 'keeping her mouth shut' part may be the hardest component of them all. Wetting his lips, he leered into the mirror, watching the girl's mouth babble as if it was some sort of perpetual machine, with a strange fascination, actually. Ishmael chuckled, imagining the mouth closed, stopped; forever. With another leer, one of his hands found themselves closing around his gun. He wondered if she knew what it was..
