Hearing the chirping, she slowed down for a moment, looking around for the source before discovering it was above her. "Oh.." she started, having stopped in her tracks completely. "Hello tiny bird..." Ruby didn't really think too much of it, but at least it was a little less strange than talking to a tree.

Before Pacifica could respond to Dipper, they were interrupted by Libbie. she decided to follow along with the group to the shack, which brought back memories of when she had come there for the party. She tried to confront Dipper again, but one of their great uncles spoke first.

He held out the two books he had gotten: the pink scrapbook and blue journal. "I got you gifts," he said with much enthusiasm in his rough and deep voice.
