Blazefeather growled, his lips curling back into a snarl. A determined look was on his face as he answered, "They better not, or they'll have to get through me."

Rosefeather pulled away when she heard rustling in the bushes. She quickly recognized the scent. "Turtle? Come out," she called to the loner.

Turtle softly padded out of the bushes. "I can tell them that you drowned. I won't say a thing," the young loner promised.

Blazefeather looked at Turtle, then at Rosefeather to see what she thought. "Or we could tell them the truth... they might deserve to know..." he suggested quietly.

Rosefeather sighed. "Yes. I suppose we should," she admitted. She looked at Turtle, then back at Blazefeather.

Turtle watched them, willing to do anything they needed.

Blazefeather nodded in agreement. He looked at Turtle, a gentle look in his eyes as he asked, "Will you tell them for us? I can't risk Rosefeather getting hurt..." he looked at his maye. {They are mates, right? O.O}

Turtle nodded. "Of course, they can't do anything to me but chase me out." She answered, looking up at the larger warriors.

Rosefeather smiled kindly. "Thank you," she purred.

Blazefeather nodded. "Thank you, I'll see you around, Turtle." he flashed a friendly smile and looked at Rosefeather, taking in a huge breath and then letting it out. "Ready?"

Rosefeather's chest felt tight with anticipation. "Not really, but let's go," she said, entwining her tail with his.
