So can someone explain the coliseum to me? Its really boring and you get like one thing from it that is barely worth anything.

You're right that it gets boring after a while, however it has innumerable benefits.

A) Leveling dragons. Dragons with higher levels give more money when exalted, and it's a great way to make money. If I buy an adult for 8kT and level it to Level 7, I make a 3-4kT profit (not including selling the items that I acquire). Plus, there's no cap like the Fairgrounds.

B) Holiday grinding. Certain monsters will drop holiday currency (Shimmering Pinecones, at the moment) and chests that contain skins. It's pretty much the only way to get currency aside from Gathering (and Baldwin, but the Coli is wayyyy faster, hence why I never use Baldwin).

C) Item grinding. Occasionally monsters will drop Familiars, unhatched eggs, and chests. These are very high in value.

If you could send over the non-Balwin part of the supplies (it's like shale or coal or obsidian or something) I could do it for you! :3
