I promise I will officially introduce myself and my kias here soon but before I did I had some rather newbie-ish questions I would like some help with. cx
Questions:
I've seen many different species operate different ways so before going any further in development; are kiamaras in like a world all their own with jobs and whatnot or do they follow the lore of the species in that they only comprehend things and do things as animals do.
Follow up question, can we draw our kiamaras as humans?

Im not a member of staff or anything but as far as I know from being in the Kia community since 2013, Kias live in the same world as humans and other animals, but they do have their own lore. They can have jobs, houses, whatever you like! Also you can draw them as feral, anthro, or human!

Okay peeps! It is I, Koi97 and I am here on a mission. I have two Kiamaras open for romance, so I am going to see if they can find a mate or dating partner. I am in no rush with the relationship and I would prefer a headcannon relationship over an art based one as I am not the most active with art ^^;

Warning;; If you want a breeding in the near future I will not be able to buy a slot because I do not have the points nor the money for it! Sorry :c


Puppet/Gendervoid(they/them)/Single/Pansexual

Puppet is reserved, quite, and very smart. They live alone and hidden as they are an escaped project of the military who have been trying to use Kiamaras as spies or assassins. Puppet hates bring up their past and refuses to talk about it. Puppet is skittish around anybody they stumble across and is always on the move. They are loyal and caring, but always leave their friends behind in order to stay hidden. Puppet bottles up a lot of their emotions and hides them behind a blank mask. Puppet is sensitive to light, and prefers to travel in the dark or with some sort of protection for their eyes. Puppet doesn't talk much and will instead just grunt, hum, or nod to acknowledge you.

Puppet would need somebody that is willing to travel with them and somebody that won't push them to talk about their history until they are ready to open up. Puppet will be the hardest to get to because they are so reserved and skittish around others.


Finch/Male/Single/Bisexual

Finch is a bird handler and trainer. He is always dealing with large birds such as eagles and vulture. He is very out going and social, loving to talk or to just have fun. Finch loves making new friends and exploring the town they live. Finch does travel, but mostly to take on jobs to train large birds for movies or for bird shoes. Finch is an open book, wearing his heart on his sleeve and never able to truly hide his emotions. Finch has a hard time holding a grudge, yet if you break his trust, he will be very wary around you. Finch has a temper, but it is hard to start. Finch is loyal to all his friends and he will never go behind their back. Finch is very caring and tends to worry to much about his friends. Finch is willing to fight, but isn't the smartest and can often loose in verbal fights. Finch tends to take words to heart and thus making them pretty sensitive.

@butter dragon, for an official answer: for the longest time that was kinda up to your own interpretation! However in the recent lore changes, kiamaras went extinct and then were brought back by humans, so they do live in a world together. You don't really have to include humans into your kias story if you don't want to though, many people kinda ignore that since sometimes it doesnt fit in ^ u ^ so parachutes is right, just figured i'd clear it up!

also this is kinda a mark! but i'm etheraus, i'm one of the new nursery artists! but so this isn't a post for no reason and since many people are introducing their kias, you can find mine here!
