He shrugged. "I'm not sure... we could hunt?" Cloudpaw suggested awkwardly. He glanced over at the fresh-kill pile... it did seem to be pitifully small.

"Works for me," the tall tom responded. Icepaw began to trot out of camp.

Ask she trotted to the forest she listened to sounds of the forest, the leaves rustling in the breeze, the bird singing overhead, and the sound of the far off river. She became lost in thought, as she continued through the forest.

Apprentice | Tom | Icepaw
Cloudpaw followed after him, trotting out of camp. He opened his mouth slightly in search of prey. Cloudpaw picked up a faint scent of vole and licked his lips excitedly. One of the largest disadvantages he had in both battle and hunting was his pure white pelt. Over the moons of his apprenticeship, he had learned some useful tricks to disguise himself. Cloudpaw would roll in dirt and make his pelt a dirty brown color- it seemed to always work surprisingly. The best thing is that his mentor didn't even teach it to him, he came up with it all on his own, so he felt extremely proud of himself.

Icepaw slunk into the thickest underbrush he could find. Being a sleek snowy-coloured cat, hunting was difficult, but he managed. Having such long legs allowed him to manuever easily, being able to step over some of the lower bits. Scenting the air, he noticed a shrew. The tom swept his tongue along his jaws and slunk forward, using his tail to keep his balance. The tom leaped, though fell a pawstep short. The shrew skittered away and he chased, managing to scoop it up and nip it's neck. "Mouse-brain, you nearly let it get away," he hissed to himself.
