Echowhisker nodded, and raced back to camp, after grabbing his prey. He dropped it onto the pile, with sigh of relief. He then bounded off to the rock shelf, climbing up within a moment's breath. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the rock shelf!" He called out, sitting down.

Hearing this, Ferntail made his way into the clearing and looked up at Echowhisker. This must be for daisykit! he smiled cheerfully at the thought of another apprentice.

Daisykit, with the help of another cat, stumbled up to the rock shelf. Its finally happening! About time, too! she thought with a smirk on her face.

Amberpaw flicked her ear at the call from camp, and she rose up onto her paws, trotting off towards the small group already gathered. Finding herself a spot to settle down in, the she-cat sat down, wrapping her tail over her paws, her eyes gleaming.

Echowhisker announced, but then added, "I must go to the moonpool soon, and such. When I come back I shall choose my new deputy. And Amberpaw, I didn't forget about you. I will be your mentor." He hopped down, and touched his nose to Amberpaw's.
