@fish I'm fine with that idea honestly. There's just some cats that we really really don't want to let go and each month we can add a new cat? That's perfectly fine with me.

@dewy Those kits though, I wonder... I don't really know, I mean they could just be there ? Like with an unknown father and mother?

@red Than that's perfectly fine. You don't have to have or is pushed/required to have more cats than you can handle. It's fine if you don't make a cat each month, that option just will always be there. Most of us are tied to our cats one way or another and we don't want those memories to go away. That's why everyone is letting their cats have a second life or etc.

I respect your opinion, though I still think the kits should count as your cat for that month. That way everyone won't have their cats get mates and have kits right away, whichis fairly unrealistic, and there won't be so many litters.
That's just ny opinion, anyway. ^.^

I agree with Fish's monthly cats idea thing. I think it'll really help with overpopulation overall, and I think it is very sound. Maybe keep a tally to see who has/hasn't used their monthly cat yet to make sure?

ahh, i believe it's been 24 hours. is that when we agreed the poll would end, or does everyone thin that was insufficient time to vote? i haven't looked at the results yet because i've been busy with school and had company afterwards, so i don't even know who stands where.

As far as my stuff, I don't have any queens left, but Echosong will be having her litter soon, with two to four kits open depending on how many she will have, but probably just two people for two kits cause overcrowding. My kit for that will be like Silverspots though so ^.^

Sorry I have been a tad inactive, I have been practicing saxophone for a solo and ensemble competition I have tomorrow, which is why there will be a slight delay for the deputy poll which I will be creating later that day! If anyone has last minute additions and want their cats in the polls speak now! And if you have already nominated, for my convenience, please make sure the word 'Deputy' is in your post for searching purposes!

Also I had an idea in the shower and wanted to know you guys' thoughts on it...
What would you think of a co-op system for keeping cats? Where you would be in charge of your own?
Ultimately now the choice would be Cas's to make but I wanted to ask what you guys thought about it as a possibility !
