A paw swiped at Doveflight. "Why wouldn't I be!?" Shadowpaw stood up, but fell back down.

"Shadowpaw, stay still" Doveflight said firmly. "I think you may be injured"

Shadowpaw finally sighed and obeyed.

Doveflight poked each of Shadowpaw's legs in turn "Does that hurt?"

Echowhisker scanned the crowd quickly, before padding up to Blackpaw. "Heya, see you're stuck with me, I guess. Heh, Won't be half bad, I can garuntee that." He said, touching his nose to his apprentice, and then leaning back with a small yawn.

The young tom smiled at his new mwntor. "At least we make good first impressions, unlike some." He meowed, flicking his tail towards the warrior and apprentice squabble.

Fernstar stared down angrily at the fight. Padding up to the edge of the Highledge, her voice boomed out. "Enough!" Her angry green gaze rested on Shadowpaw. "What do you think you're doing? That is a warrior as well as your mentor, you're supposed to respect her. Apologise to Doveflight now." The leader growled. Sometimes she wished she knew what was going on in some cat's minds, but sadly StarClan didn't grant that to new leaders.


Threeleg stared at the fight, glancing at Snakemist. With a grumble, he was pleased when Fernstar broke up the fight. "Me and Snakemint don't want to waste herbs on pointless fights!" He grumbled, half to himself. Some apprentices needed to get their act together.


Juniperfrost stared at the fight happening, glancing at Fernstar as she shouted. Looking at Hailpaw, she gave a faint chuckle. "Promise me you won't be like that." She mewed with a smile. The fae knew that Hailpaw was a more sensible apprentice, so Juniperfrost shouldn't have trouble turning her into a fine warrior.


Sparrowpaw looked at Bramblewhisker with glittering green eyes. "Thanks Bramblewhisker! I'm sure you will!" He squeaked before blushing hard at his voice crack. "Sorry." The young tom laughed before looking over his shoulder at the quarrel between Doveflight and Shadowpaw. "I don't understand that fae sometimes." He whispered to himself.


Aquilo dipped his head. "Thanks, and alright." He mewed before picking up his mouse, turning and bounding away into the bushes, looking back only when she was out of sight. He was surprised she hadn't ripped his ears off. The grey tabby padded away before slowing. The tom settled down in the roots of an oak tree opposite a broken cobble path, biting into his meal with satisfaction.

Darkcloud looked at the argument between Shadowpaw and her mentor in distance. Shaking his head he feeled how his sight got bad again, but was quiet about it.

Silentstream was in fresh kill pile, looking for something to eat. Of course she could go to herself to hunt, but was little too tired for that. she didn't get almost any sleep at last night and she thinked to try getting some sleep now after the meal.

Shadowpaw hissed at Doveflight, standing up. She quickly padded into the dark forest.

Torrentheart sat off to the side from the gathering group, watching with squinted eyes as Doveflight and her new apprentice fought before Fernstar came over and broke it up. Thank StarClan for at least one sensible cat in this Clan, she thought. She glanced over at the newly-made deputy and thought, Well, make that two. Taking one last look around the clearing, she stood up and stretched. Time to sleep, she thought, and headed for the warriors den.


Daywatcher attempted to keep a squeal of excitement as she heard her named called. I'm going to mentor Splashpaw! she thought to herself. How exciting! She was going to get to teach the 'paw all about being a warrior. Looking around the small crowd of cats, she thought to herself, Now, if only I could actually find my apprentice.
