I have some furry friends in real life. One I introduced to furry, and the other two attended my college and I found them online. I've met some more furries at a local event and at FC, but they are more acquaintances than friends at this point.

EDIT: I went to my first con (an anime con) when I was 15 I think. But yeah I had my friends dad take us.

My boyfriend is a furry (which was pretty cool, he was the first furry I've met IRL! XD), I know personally two others that go to my school and I know of a third but I've never talked to them and don't particularly plan to. Furries are pretty much generally accepted around here, we've got pretty much everyone being chill with everyone else. Though, it might just be the group I hang with X3

Also also I wanted to go to AC or FurFright but my mom doesn't want me traveling out of state.. X3 So I'm sticking with Anime Boston for now, everyone I hang out with goes there anyway so I won't be alone or anything o3o

I would love to meet up with other furs, especially from CS would be pretty cool. ^^ I plan to go to a couple cons, but I'm not sure yet. It's not really much of a money problem, but it's my socialness. And to go there with my mom. She's a real piece of work, and I'm almost intirely certain she'd ruin it for me. She's sort of accepting of the whole furry deal, but she's so judgemental of people it wouldn't make it very great.

If I knew some more furries that I could go places with then I'd be just dandy. ^^

Hi, I want to start doing Furry art, I am already pretty good at quad art, but I can't do Anthro yet. So I was wondering if there is any tips to getting started?

It's best to know human anatomy first, seeing as bipedal/anthro art is basically human with a touch of animal. Most anthro work has human-like body structure, so study up on that first. Your expressions in your art are good so you have that downpat. I can't help you any more than that cause I'm not the best at anthro art.

Oh, really? That's neat. :U My boyfriend accepts my "interest in animal-people" (his words x'D), but he certainly isn't a furry. I don't know any, but the fact that your friends are cool with your furry-ness is awesome. c: I learned at the age of 12 that my friends associate furries with porn and creepy things, so I don't really mention it.

That's awesome, that you even get into it. I waited four hours to go to a con last year. . 3 . We ended up giving up and went to eat chicken.
There were a few cool fursuits there, and a really awesome quadsuit. :3 I may still have the images on my laptop too, if anyone wants to see. ^ u ^
