has anyone else seen that 'hard clique/soft clique' stuff going around on instagram?

honestly i think it's pretty ridiculous, it's just an excuse for people to harass others

ugggggh I knooooooow honestly it's stupid because we're all part of the clique and just because someone doesn't listen to them as much as someone else doesn't mean those people are 'harder' or 'softer' clique members. I coown a fan account and there's been so much drama about it on our account and it's so stupid ugh

I'm not sure what you mean by that but I have seen a lot of people get pissy over stuff like how people write the logo such as top or 21p and get irritated when people say Stressed Out is their favourite. Stressed Out is a good song and it's probably the first song most people have heard so they're obviously going to like it more than the others. It's not the most famous song by them for no reason!

yep, i did see it. honestly, this is why i don't really use instagram anymore. i used to have a tøp fan acc. but now i don't use it very often bc of how competitive the clique is on there. it was already bad enough that older members were being rude to newer members, but now they have to label it? completely unnecessary.

stressed out was actually a really good song so i dont know why everybodies getting mad over it?
its not a "soft" song as all fans can enjoy it and any other song, it shouldnt e a competition, plus, i dont want the fandom to end up toxic like mlp

I feel like so many people forget that the skeleton clique is made up of people who relate to the lyrics. It's made up of people who found hope here, so why does it matter if they like one of the popular songs or are still learning about the band? It doesn't.

guess who might be seeing tøp in aprjl...?
this dude!! im so excited man

@soft clique/hard clique discussion // ive always found the clique pretty mean and toxic and even tho i stay away from the instagram clique the tumblr clique is even worse unfortunately. tbh i feel like the clique has changed from people inspired by good music to too many enlist a-holes, and its sad because as a long-time fan (since before vessel-ish) i've watched the fanbase change so fast from a happy environment where everyone is welcome to a cold enlisted environment where everyone is just cold and mean. is it even about the music anymore? i feel like the fandom took "clique" a little too literally..

i've been a fan since vessel and perople need 2 chill out. fandoms/cliques for bands shouldnt be toxic? there's literally nothing to argue or get mad about?
i hate seeing a good thing becoming toxic because of people not accepting that more than you likes something?

if u don't like vents then don't read
so
my dad said if i finished the swimming season I would get to go to a twenty one pilots concert and he promised. i even got to record him saying it no joke. and then he said
i can't go cuz apparently the ppl who they attract rnt the best crowd and there's too much smoke
wuuughhh
and yet (lets call her alice)
my semi friend Alice gets to go but her parents r so strict
i mean if they let her go why can't I
plus it angers me cuz a bunch of these fake fans at my school go to the concerts
a group who go together have been to at least 4 together but one has been an extra time on their own
it would be nice if they weren't to selfish and saved sum tickets 4 every1 else who hasnt gone like me cuz irly wanna go. it's not like they worked their bums off for ONE. STINKING. TICKET. even if I felt terrible i went to practice in order 2 get the dang ticket
WUUGHHHH

@hardclique/softclique/cliqueingeneral I really hate all the toxic people who have entered the clique. Like I said a couple pages back, when I joined the clique it felt like I had been walking down this really dark and scary hallway and then I just found this group of people who felt what I felt and had also walked down this hallway and everyone was really confused and vaguely grumpy about the government and stupid people but we had cookies and everyone was just kind of hugging and chilling. And now it feels like it's just full of elitists who honestly haven't been here that long. (I'm one to talk, seeing as I've been a fan since late vessel era and that's not really that long.) And it's like, why are we putting new fans down for not knowing songs like addict with a pen or screen? Why aren't we jsut getting excited to show them something new and getting excited about it with them? Why? Are? We? Doing? This?

@Twenty One Pilots |-/
Awe, bro, I'm sorry. That really sucks. Honestly, the atmosphere at my pilots concert was better than any other concert I've ever been to. I got to see them at red rocks, and it was incredible. When my brother went to see Imagine Dragons, he come home upset because the atmosphere had been so toxic and unfriendly. Same with FOB. But, like, pilots made us both so happy because everyone was being so nice and kind and people were forming little ukulele bands and singing before the concert, and we were all making jokes together in line, and there were these guys at the front of the merch mob getting stuff for people who were afraid to wait in it because there were so many people and after the concert a group of us all just kind of sat there and group hugged and it was amazing. So I don't really get his concerns about the people.
However, there were a lot, and i mean a lot, of people getting high. There was a guy who offered me a blunt and my brother and my brother's friend just kind of pushed me behind them, and my brother was like, 'Sir, she's *my age here*." So I can understand the smoke/drug concerns, especially if it's an indoor arena. But honestly if he made a promise he should follow through. That really sucks, fren.
