"Let all cat's who can climb within the branches gather before me for a clan meeting." She blinked, scanning over the crowd, warriors would be good, Jadeheart's kits will be apprentices soon, but they still need a moon or two, both of them. "I have sad news for us all. Oakflower is no longer with us. I will be going with Lillypaw as she is made the next medicine cat of Leafclan, earning her name. With me I will take four valued young cats. Minnowpaw, Firepaw, Felicity and Dapplekit. Please step forward."

Mistsong yowled, claws losing their grip on Bear. "A rouge! I saw a filthy loner, it had to be Night! She's come to kill Reedstar!" The pointed warrior wiggled, trying to get to the smaller black tom. "Don't let her just get away! Don't you remember! The fae felt the eyes of the entire Clan burn into her fur as Reedstar mentioned her name, and so she just dipped her head. As Minnowpaw's name was called, she looked at the apprentice, who seemed too surprised to look back.

Shadowcast pricked his ears to hear the ceremony from the nursery. His eyes widened as it was announced that Oakflower was dead. With a dip of his head, Shadowcast whispered. "Lilypaw will be an excellent medicine cat." Before hearing more names. "Must be a warrior and apprentice ceremony." He added.

Oceanroar flattened her ears in sadness as it was said that Oakflower was no longer with them. "May StarClan light her path." She mumbled before looking at Lilypaw. Duststorm looked up as a meeting was called. "Oakflower's... Dead?" He echoed to himself as the news was announced. For once the grumpy tom actually felt sorry for Lilypaw, who looked heartbroken. He glanced at the new medicine cat before more names were announced. "I'm guessing more bodies for the warrior's den." The tom grumbled so quietly only a cat right beneath his mouth would be able to hear.

Minnowpaw's ears pinned back at the news. Oakflower was... The apprentice looked at her paws before her head shot up again like a Jack-in-a-box when her name was called. "Me?" She echoed. The fae could hardly believe it. A huge grin on her face, she climbed to her paws and stepped forward, looking at her mentor with bright and happy blue eyes.

He trotted down the grass and slipped through the open window and into the conservatory, which was empty. He padded into the living room, thinking over what May had said.

She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." She smiled at Minnowpaw, stepping down to stand in front of her apprentice. " Minnowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life? " She purred, chest swelling for this small silver tabby, 'thank you Ashstar, I just hope I was a good mentor' "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Minnowpaw, from this moment you will be known as Minnowash. StarClan honors your kindness and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Leafclan." She leaned in, touching her nose to Minnowpaw's forhead, purring and whispering to the new warrior. "Good work, I am very proud of you. Everyone is." When she pulled back she called out again, continuing with the next ceremony. "Firepaw, please step forward."

Firepaw had actually been awake since Yarrowpaw awoke him. He padded out of the den when the meeting was called and listened to what the leader said. The Scottish Fold was quite surprised when he heard his name being called but now, he was quite happy. He listened until the leader called him up. Firepaw stood up onto his paws and padded up to where his leader was. When he got there, the apprentice looked up at he, nervousness in his eyes. The Scottish Fold didn't believe he would be a good warrior because he wasn't the best at landing when hunting. Seems as if he was told wrong.
