Splashpelt watched Moonwhisper favoring her paw. "Your paw okay?" He asked from his spot not moving to hunt only looking up when Otterfang came back holding her catch tail held high. He turned back to Moonwhisper waiting for some sort of answer

" oh , I g g got it caught under a r r r root , it g got trapped " she lifted her paw showing a large bruise

Splashpelt stood up and padded closer sniffing the paw trying to remember what medicine cats used for such a injury. "Comfry root" he muttered then louder "We will take it easy on the rest of the patrol and if we spot comfry root it should help with the swelling" he said with a soft soothing purr looking about to make sure everyone had eaten. "Let's go" he said starting off at a slowish pace not wanting Moonwhisper to get any worse

Moonwhisper muttered " d don't worry about m m me " before following behind him

"With how few warriors we have in our clan I have the right to worry." Splashpelt said not looking back. "I care about the well being of the whole clan and if you are hurt hunting or patrolling could make it worse and out us a warrior for a while." Be added ears pricked for signs of danger.

Moonwhisper's ears flopped down and she looked at the ground as if she was being told off , she remained like that for a few seconds before she trudged after splash pelt , no one noticed she was crying , she smiled and cheerily caught up with him
