Clan of the Pines! (Warriors RP)

[Limerence]

"Wonderful! Skykit, Stormkit, Icekit, and Coonkit..." Lillystar paused as she looked at the last unnamed kit. It was smaller then all the rest, but only slightly. It was a she-cat with grey tones that were darker then all the rest. "Ashkit?" Lilly suggested as she nuzzled Stormkit.

Froststorm nodded picking up Ashkit cradling her with his paw. "I think that is a perfect name for her." He said gently licking the top of her forehead before turning back to Lillystar with a smile.

(ohmy goodness im sorry guys! i was gone at a friend the whole weekend ( i missed so much :O ))

spiderweb took the kit from honeystep and looked at her bewilderedly "a newborn? wheres the mother??" he said standing and going to get something to cover the kit and keep it warm. "it needs milk right away," he said as he lay warm moss on her back like a blanket. he prodded the kit gently. "its small and its very weak, we need the mother, now" he said sternly to honeystep with a look in his eyes that told her to go.

thunderclaw picked up rosekit quickly and left. he heard her squeaking as he picked her up and hesitated a moment.

rosekit batted ghostkits ears as he touched her tail. "i wonder who he is??" she thought smiling. suddenly her feet were off the ground and her fathers scent surrounded her. she touched noses with ghostkit as she was lifted away. she squealed and meowed to be put down and reached her paws out blindly clawing the air to be back with him she hung in her fathers mouth hearing every step he took. she felt his heart beating as he lay her down with her mother, she recognized the soft belly fur. she yawned and began suckling. "ill go back." she thought drifting away to sleep

Shadowclaw padded into the Medicine cats den slowly feeling exhausted and not wanting the unknown queen to fall off of his back. "This is the mother." He said quietly as he nelt forward causeing Pinefrond to slide off of his back. "I found her at the camp's entrance where she gave birth to the kit." He said standing back up and takeing a step away from the queen before turning to spiderweb. "Can you help her?" He asked hopeing something could be done for the queen and her kit.

spiderweb examined her. he looked up after a few moments. "she needs poppy. she is very weak." he said walking over to the shelves and getting the last two poppys he had. he opened her mouth and slid them down her throat. he went to the kit and brought it to its mother laying it down next to her warm belly fur and letting it suckle. "theres not much that can be done for the kit but to let it suckle. its a mater of starclan now." he said with a sigh, and getting some wet moss and putting it in dapplelights mouth. after it was moist, he took out the moss and closed her mouth. "in better news dapplelight is stable." he said sitting down. he looked at the cats all around him. "and congrads to you both." he said, his eyes clouded.

Shadowclaw turned back to Honeystep with a nod. "Yes we did thank you." He said before turning back to Spiderweb. "Thank you for continueing to care for her. I am glad to hear that she is doing well." He said with an appreciative nod looking over at Dapplelight's body.

Dapplelight's tail twitched, and her ears flicked.

Pinefrond's mind swirled. She awoke in a nest... Her kit not moving, attempting to suckle... 'My...ki..t...' she mumbled, her words slurred by sleep. The kit didn't knead her belly, or anything. She lay there...

The kit was sapped of energy. Cold was creeping in on it's fur, lulling the kit closer to death. With a sharp breath, the kit's mind was lost, with it's littermate... Gone from Pinefrond forever...

Shadowclaw turned back to Honeystep moveing closer to look at the kit before placeing a paw lightly on Honeysteps side with a shake of his head. "I am sorry, but I don't think that you can do anything for it now." He said turning from the kit to look at Pinefrond sadly wishing they could have saved the kit.

Bluekit wandered from her den, leaving Moonkit. A sudden rush of sweet warm milk aroused her sense of smell. She mewled pitifully.

Ghostkit watched her leave him, and sat wonderously amazed by the she-kit's eyes, and her sense of guidance. He stepped forward, but reluctantly stepped back, as he realized he hadn't really been there at all... He opened his eyes to see his siblings mewling for milk.[I'm entangling Rosekit into Ghostkit's mesh of a life... >8D]

Tumbling down the rocks, they landed out of the den. All the kits sniffed in circles, wanting milk. They headed for the medicine Cat's den...

Shadowclaw's nose twitched catching the scent of the kits seeming to move closer. "I have to go check on my kits." He said hastily as he dashed out of the den only to stop instantly seeing his kits wondering towards the medicine cats den. He quickly herded them all into the entrance of the medicine cats den afraid they would wander off if not in a den. "I guess they got hungry while i was gone." He apologized looking to the other cats sadly unsure of what to do unable to give them milk.
